Story
Cooper is a pro at snuggling and one of the most affectionate dogs. He doesn't understand that he's a big boy and sometimes tries to sit on our laps! He's always up for walking around the neighborhood, playing fetch, or getting belly scratches. He's a gentleman and gets along well with other female dogs, but humans are his favorite. He's the type of dog who just wants to be near you and will follow you from room to room just to be close by. He's a real sweetheart. I will be getting married next summer and my fiance fosters dogs and has a dog of his own. My dog Cooper does not do well with my fiance's dog, which is the only reason we have made the difficult decision to re-home him.

Dear Santa, Love Buttercup Dear Santa, My name is Buttercup, and I’m new to Lucky Paws Rescue. I wanted to tell you my story. I spent an entire year in a shelter — waiting, hoping, and dreaming that someone would finally see me. Then Lucky Paws came and broke me out, and everything changed. I’ve been a devoted mom, and I’ve done my job well. Now it’s my turn to find my forever. I’m an easy-going girl who loves life, peaceful walks, and soaking in all the good moments. I get along great with other dogs, but if I’m being honest… I’d much rather be your shadow. My favorite things are being outdoors, curling up in a comfy bed, and watching TV right by your side. I prefer the slower, sweeter side of life — calm days, gentle routines, and lots of love. Santa, all I want for Christmas is a family of my very own — someone who will choose me and never let me go.
