I am (unfortunately) desperately seeking a new living home for her. She's a very sweet dog. I took her in a little bit over a year ago. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to spend with her and she has some pretty high separation anxiety. She jumps up when she's excited (she loves people). She needs someone spending more time with her than I am currently able to provide, due to work and other life situations. She IS House trained, though she does have accidents if shes feeling icky. She also is territorial over her food. I hate having to give her up. But with someone with experience training dogs, and who is able to provide a loving home, I would feel a bit better about it. I am desperately seeking a new home for her.

Meet Abby! 🤎🐾 Abby’s story began during a very difficult time in Spokane. She was found as a stray during the recent fires, with burned paws and no family in sight. We brought her into our care, treated her injuries, and gave her the time and TLC she needed to heal. Her paws are feeling so much better now, and while we still don’t know exactly what she went through before coming to us, we do know one thing for sure: Abby is one incredibly sweet and joyful girl. 🥹🤎 Because Abby was found as a stray, we don’t have much background information about her. No one came forward to claim her during her stray hold, so now we’re searching for the next chapter of her story — and hopefully, the one where she finally gets to be someone’s beloved dog. Abby absolutely LOVES attention and getting pets. She is an outgoing girl who is always happy to say hello and soak up some love. 🥰 She’s also wonderfully curious! Take Abby for a walk and you’ll quickly discover that she wants to see everything. She’s constantly looking around, checking things out, and making sure she doesn’t miss a thing. 👀🐾 After everything she’s been through, it’s pretty incredible to see how happy and hopeful Abby is. She doesn’t let her past define her — she’s much too busy enjoying the present! Whether she’s getting her favorite people to give her some attention or exploring the world on a walk, Abby is ready to experience all the good things life has to offer. Abby has been with us since August 10th, and we would absolutely love to see this sweet girl finally have a family to call her own. She has already overcome so much, and now she deserves a soft place to land, plenty of loving pets, and a forever family who will never let her wonder where she belongs again. 🤎🐾 Abby is ready for her happy ending. Could you be the one to give it to her? 🥹🤎
