Haaland got a very hands-on start to life. This adorable 4-month-old puppy was raised as a bottle baby, so being loved and cared for by people is all he's ever known. His parents are unknown, but Haaland may be a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He has a gorgeous, shiny chocolate coat with a distinctive darker ridge running down his back. Haaland is one of those puppies who always seems to be happy. He's constantly smiling, loves other dogs, and grew up surrounded by cats and even tiny kittens. He's a sweet, social, happy boy who is ready to finish growing up with a family of his own. Good fit: someone looking for a happy, social puppy who loves other animals and has been raised around both dogs and cats from the very beginning. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), I always take my dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on preventatives. Haaland is currently too young/small to be neutered. Ducky (Lucky) is amazing and loving and playful when in a familiar environment with familiar animals. She gives the best kisses and snuggles! She thinks she is a lapdog, at 50 lbs, she's a large lap dog! She will snuggle up next to you on the couch or in bed! She loves to play and run in the backyard and wrestle with our resident dog. No one told her that she is missing a leg because she runs FAST! She needs some training on walks and in the car. She gets anxious, pulls on her leash, and barks at people and animals. She will push through the door, so at our home we use the garage as an "airlock" to keep her from running. She is very strong and sneaky for a dog of this size! She had some anxiety when left at home without her 4 legged siblings. We are working with Underdog's trainer, Jorge on her reactivity. Her adopter will need to continue to work with her for her safety and their sanity! The best home for Ducky would be one with a securely fenced-in backyard where she can play and run without distraction from other people and dogs. She really needs another dog to play with, and a home without cats is a must as she has appeared to be a bit prey-driven. Interested in this sweet dog?
