Story
This leading Lady will steal the show & your heart! Lady is an affectionate pup from a loving home whose rehoming is due to the death of her human family. Lady is eager for love & commitment. Crate trained, incredible loose leash walking & is learning commands & routines quickly & enthusiastically in foster care. She is food motivated & whip smart. She has demonstrated that with consistent routine & attention, she has the potential to become an exceptionally skilled & obedient companion. She responds well to structure, reward & movement - wants a leader. Loves people, though no prior exposure to children. She needs to be adopted as an only pet in order to thrive. She'd love following your lead & spending tons of time snuggling. She doesn't need to be entertained constantly, but she loves to be nearby you. Her personality shines in a calm environment. She's got a big bark when startled, but settles quickly - great guard dog. Records & transport available. @ladyandbruiser on Instagram!

Story
Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!    ADOPTION APPLICATION:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .    We respond via email to your apps so please add hselco@bellsouth.net to your contact list or check your SPAM folder for our response. If we do not receive a timely response we simply move on to another applicant. And please wait for our response as we schedule appointments to meet our pets.   Pet info, adoption cost/detail information below: PET DESCRIPTION:  Tom is a male, what we have dubbed, 'Rotten Doodle!'  Mom is a Rottweiler (and a very nice dog) and given the coat, going to guess Dad is a Poodle of some type.  Tom is 4 1/2 months old as of mid-Jun & 25 lbs so should be about 50 lbs when fully grown.  Like most all Doodles, will need very regular grooming to keep him healthy and looking good. He is a bit shy at first and has obviously  never dealt with being on a leash and may have never been in a home but he will be quick to learn what living a good life INSIDE with his family being loved is about.  Great with other dogs.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch (and we register the chip at time of the adoption); certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
