Meet Lottie. Lottie. is only 5 months old, but this precious girl has already been through far more than any puppy should. One of our Animal Control Officers found Lottie. and quickly noticed she had a severe wound on her back. Once she arrived at the shelter, our veterinarian determined that the injury appeared consistent with a serious burn. We may never know exactly what happened to her, but what we do know is that Lottie. deserved better. She was immediately cleaned up and started on antibiotics and ointment, and thankfully, her wound is healing beautifully. Like all wounds, it just needs a little more time. At around 20 pounds, Lottie. is still just a baby with her whole life ahead of her. She's been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccines. Now she needs something much more important... a safe home and a family who will protect her, love her, and give her the chance to grow into the amazing dog we know she can be. This big fella is Luke and he has won the hearts of all of the employees and volunteers at the shelter! He came in with Animal Control after a call from a citizen about some stray dogs. When our officers went out they found Luke and several others wandering around. They all made the trip back to the shelter where they have been waiting for their owners. Luke was never claimed by his family so the shelter got him ready for adoption. Luke has all of his vaccinations, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. One little issue did come up on his health check up. Luke is heartworm positive. No Problem! His treatment is already set up and he is ready to go! Here are a few of the “notes” on Luke! He is a 90 pound Rottweiler mix. He passed all of his behavior tests with flying colors! Everyone at the shelter LOVES him! Come meet him and I bet you will be a big “fan” of Luke, too!

She has a beautiful black and brown coat typical of the breed and weighs 43 pounds, with the expectation that she will grow into a large adult dog. Wonder is a sweet, friendly pup who gets along well with children and other dogs. Playful by nature, she would love a securely fenced yard to run around in. Curious and a bit nosy, she’s a delightful dog eager to find a loving family of her own.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Rusty has had 2 owners, the man i got him from named Matt, and me. we got him when i was around 13-14 and he’s now 4 years old. Matt originally found him as a stray puppy, and seeing him all dirty with that brown and black fur he named him “crusty rusty” (ik it’s kinda silly) anyways though he grew up around many other dogs until i got him, and let me say before rusty i was afraid of dogs my whole life, but he changed it all. he might be a little nervous at first in a new environment but as long as you give him attention, food, and play with him he’ll love you. also he’s extremely good with not biting people. but yeah i’m moving and i just want to find rusty a new home with a loving family, because that’s what he deserves. if you have any questions on him i’d love to answer them!! my phone number is (xxx) xxx-xxxx so feel free to text anytime.

Mom is a Rottweiler (and a very nice dog) and given the coat, going to guess Dad is a Poodle of some type. Onyx is 8 1/2 months old as of mid-Oct & about 50 lbs. Like most all Doodles, will need very regular grooming to keep her healthy and looking good. She was adopted from us but a change in her family's life saw her back with us. She is housetrained, good with male & female dogs, good with children. She is very playful and loves to play chase with other dogs. Not crazy but not a couch potato either so good exercise and mental workouts will be best for her. And she does have a long coat that will need regular grooming so check on that with a groomer you might choose so you will understand those costs. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch (and we register the chip at time of the adoption); certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.
