Story
I was found in the Walmart parking lot. I’m friendly but the kennel life isn’t for me. I like some other dogs, and can do a meet and greet with you and your dogs to see if I’m a good fit. I am an active girl, and I like to play with soft toys the most! I chase balls, and zipping around outside is a hobby of mine. If you would like to know more about me, adopt, or foster, please apply on NCHSrescue.org/adoptfill out application - https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=nh0734&method=online_form_html&formid=17

Handsome Arlo has a busy schedule! He's got so many people to meet, and dogs to play with, and fun stuff to do! He's got the manners to match his other attributes - he is crate trained, knows sit, walks well on leash, and is up for more learning. He is a good yard guardian. He does need fed separately from other pets, as he wants his food and everyone else's, too. Est DOB: Jun 2021 * Est weight: 50# * Breed unknown - choice based on looks March 7, 2026, 12:01 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Piper! I’m a sweet, gentle girl looking for a family to call my own. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, and sometimes I get nervous enough to pee just a tiny bit, but I’m trying my best and I warm up quickly when I know I’m safe. I love people and really want attention—I just don’t always know how to ask for it. You’ll often find me quietly hanging nearby, hoping for some pets and kind words. Once I trust you, I’ll happily soak up all the love you have to give. I’m playful, friendly, and I absolutely love treats and food. The good news is that I’m very polite when taking them. I’ll gently accept snacks from your hand like a little lady. I may already know a thing or two about living in a home, and with a little patience and consistency, I’ll continue learning the rules. I’m a very submissive dog who wants nothing more than to make my people happy. What I’m really looking for is someone who understands that sometimes the sweetest dogs need a little extra reassurance. In return, I’ll give you my whole heart, gentle cuddles, and lots of tail wags. Could you be my forever family? Love, Piper 🐾

She has demonstrated that w time, routine, & attention, she has the potential to become an exceptionally skilled & obedient companion. She loves people, though no prior exposure to children.
