Story
Roxy is such a sweet girl! She’s been with us since 6 weeks old and is such a joy to be around. She’s is great with our toddler and other dogs. We take her to doggy daycare from time to time. We are looking for a loving family to rehome her as we make plans to relocate in the coming months. We are sad to see her go but we want to make sure she is in a safe, caring and loving environment for her next home.

Story
Clay is a very gentle, sweet, and friendly boy. He joined Out of the Woods with clear signs of neglect and a difficult early life, yet he was so happy and friendly with everyone he met. His wonderful foster mom decided to give him a better environment get healthy in, and he's been doing great with her and her very active Golden Retriever. Clay is still gaining his energy and confidence back, but he loves his new foster brother and plays with him as much as he can. He is generally very calm and gentle, and he loves cuddling and showing/receiving affection. Clay would do well in a wide variety of homes; he loves people and other dogs, even if they are higher energy than him. He walks well on leash, is housetrained, and does well in a crate. If you are looking for a dog you can shower with affection, and receive it back equally, Clay is the dog for you. He is waiting for a fresh start with his perfect family. We have not yet had a chance to test out his interactions with children or cats, but it would be incredibly surprising to find out he has any issues with either. To make the best possible match for you and the pet, please follow the link below to complete the Adoption Application. Story
A heavily pregnant dog was simply left standing in the driveway as her family packed up their belongings and moved away. Not only did they leave this precious girl to fend for herself, they left two teenage puppies from her last litter standing next to her. These kids were in terrible shape, covered in mange. OOTW was contacted and stepped up, putting the kids in a foster home where they could get the meds and TLC they needed and the sweet, "Shy-Anne" went to another foster home to get settled in to have those babies. It wasn't long until we were blessed with six babies to add to the dozen + we already had in the program! Now these six are at the age where they too can go up for adoption. Here is what we know:Mom is a small (35 pound) Rottweiler mix and the daddy, we believe, is an Aussie because we have one puppy with a Blue Merle coat and blue eyes, and several of the black dogs have blue eyes as well. This little girl is Kiwi who is very photogenic! Look at her strike a pose! This sweet little baby is showing off those white toes and looking as cute as possible ... yes, she know how to sell herself to that family looking to adopt! Little Kiwi has a shot of white right up the center of her face, a very fine line and a stroke of white on her chin. Add that to that beautiful white blaze on her chest, and you have your classic black and white puppy! Kiwi has had her first puppy shot and has been wormed twice so far. She will be available to move into her new home on Saturday, February 7 or after. A case manager will work with you to get the rest of her shots administered, set up her spay, microchip and rabies shot, and all the things as this little girl ages. We expect Kiwi to grow to be around 30 - 40 pounds when full grown. If you are interested in this little beauty, please complete the adoption application ... the link is just below.
