Story
Bruce is a 90-100lb sweet family dog. It’s hard to make the decision to re-home him because we have had him for almost 8 years (Dec. 1st will be his 8th birthday). However, our family is growing and we cannot give him the attention and time that he needs to thrive. He is an inside dog, he has never been an outside dog and he is scared of thunderstorms. We really want him to go to a loving home!!

Story
Kakki was born in an Out of the Woods' foster home on December 22, 2025. Mom is a Rottweiler mix who is on the small side, at 40 pounds. We have no knowledge of the daddy.Kakki was adopted by a family around 14 weeks, but a sudden change in family dynamics caused her to come back to us. Although that is sad news for Kakki, the great news is she learned SO much living with a family! Kakki adores children and she is fully house trained, crate trained and rides in a car like a champ! She is also good on leash and knows how to sit for her meals before she is served. She has a great personality and is friendly, loving and well behaved and loves other dogs and in her foster home she has a puppy about her age and they are besties! This girl is up to date on all of her shots and has been on flea, tick and heartworm preventative since she was 8 weeks old. She has been spayed, microchipped and given her rabies shot. So she is completely vetted and ready to go to her new family. She currently (6/12/26) weighs 32 pounds and we believe she will grow to be around the size of her mom (40 - 45 pounds). If you are interested in a teenage puppy that has a lot of training under her belt, please complete the adoption application ... the link is just below. Adoption fee is $150.To make the best possible match for you and the pet, please follow the link below to complete the Adoption Application. Story
So, as you can see I am a BIG BIG GUY(130#)!!! Like the German Rotties, I have a BIG old HEAD and a propensity to protect my people....... I need just the right home, no other dogs please. I was not socialized with other dogs while growing up and am a big boy and so introducing to other dogs is a challenge for the rescuers and therefore we are looking for a single dog home. I am a very typical rottie and was kept as a protector of the property. I LOVE my people and honestly would love to be a lap dog, lol, but I also need a couple or single who is a strong leader, who really understands my breed and who will assure that I stay safe and others do as well. Now, I have a sweet and loving side, and my friends love that about me ;) But look at my face, without my toothy grin, and you know they understand that I am a serious guy :) I love my peeps and am ready for just the right place. I can only be adopted in TX and HAVE to be met and introduced and spend time with me before the rescue will approve my adoption. So only the strong need apply!! You will get an AMAZING and DEDICATED and EXTREMELY LOYAL DOG! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX only)
