Story
Gimp was born to a feral mama in a neighborhood under a mattress. They were trapped, rescued and all found homes, except for poor gimp. He has a disabled leg he was born with, but that leg doesn’t slow him down at all. He hopped as if he were three legged, but his fourth leg is just curved and not usable. He is a very sweet boy who loves his person with all his heart he loves to jump up in the bed and he loves to snuggle on the couch. He would make someone a great dog.

Story
A heavily pregnant dog was simply left standing in the driveway as her family packed up their belongings and moved away. Not only did they leave this precious girl to fend for herself, they left two teenage puppies from her last litter standing next to her. These kids were in terrible shape, thin and covered in mange. OOTW was contacted and stepped up, putting the kids in a foster home where they could get the meds and TLC they needed and the sweet, "Shy-Anne" went to another foster home to get settled in to have those babies. It wasn't long until we were blessed with six babies to add to the dozen + we already had in the program! Now these six are at the age where they too can go up for adoption. Here is what we know:Mom is a small (40 pounds) Rottweiler mix (well, that is small for a Rottie!) and the daddy, we believe, is an Aussie because we have one puppy with a Blue Merle coat and blue eyes, and several of the black babies have at least one blue eye. This little girl is Kiwi who is very photogenic with that sky-blue eye!! This entire litter has been a pretty easy foster. They do well using a puppy pad while in their large play area and when it's time for a break from the pen, they all march like little soldiers right out to the backyard for some fun in the sun! Kiwi is just starting to sleep in a crate at night all alone but next to her brother's crate. We are preparing her for the time when she goes to her new home. :) We expect Kiwi to grow to be around her mom's size of 40 pounds. Kiwi has had all of her puppy shots and is already on tick/flea/heartworm preventative. When she gets around the age of 5 months, she will be spayed, microchipped and get her rabies shot. All of this vetting plus the puppy can be yours for the mere amount of $150 adoption fee!
