Story
Hi my name is jay, I’m looking to rehome my baby boy Mochi, he is a year old (still a puppy in my heart) but i can’t afford to take care of him because of my financial problems. He is kid friendly, loves people and is very good with cats. If you are looking for a guard dog he is your man. He has no history of being aggressive and gets along very well with pit-bulls. Huskies dont like him due to him looking intimidating but he has never started a fight. If you want more info about him or you are interested please contact me with any questions.

Story
Kai is a 17 month old Rottie/labrador mix. Her mom was a purebred Rottweiler. We have done DNA on her. Kai is a sweet, goofy girl. Fun, athletic, affectionate and friendly. Kai seems to do best with women, as she’s become weary of some men. However, her first adoption was to a single young gentleman, who was surprised and shocked to learn she had trouble in a home with another male. I feel it fair to include Kai was returned because of a job change that took her dad to traveling multiple days a week. He had never experienced anything of the sort.  Of course that makes it tough, because we have introduced her to men without issue quite frequently, but it seems once she leaves the rescue, she decides its her job to protect the women in the home. (So weird)  In time I think she could absolutely learn to trust. She is spayed, vaccinated and chipped. She’s a great dog, she just needs somebody willing to take a chance on her. She’s so deserving of love. When she is met by other people she is a dog who people are shocked is still with us, as are we. Kai has never been a threat to anybody, she has never bit anybody. But she does and has grumbled and growled under her breath.  We too are trying to make sense of it, because she is overly friendly to most other people. We do not blame her for her sensitivity to energy. Maybe she sees something we don’t. We know her family is out there and we will do what we can to make sure we find the right one. She’s a gem, a sweetheart….  She is housebroken, great on a leash, crate trained and incredibly affectionate.    August 1, 2025, 3:29 pm

Story
Meet Gregory, a sweet and sensitive boy who has been gaining confidence more and more each day. When Gregory first arrived at our center, he was very timid and shy, unsure of his new surroundings and taking his time to trust the world around him. Since then, he has made incredible progress and continues to come out of his shell a little more every day. Gregory does well with other dogs and seems to enjoy having canine friends around him. He also has a playful side that starts to shine once he feels comfortable especially when stuffed toys are involved! Gregory loves carrying toys around and acting like the puppy he is at heart. He’s also a smart boy who enjoys dog puzzles and can figure them out surprisingly quickly, showing off both his intelligence and curiosity. While Gregory can still be on the timid side, he blossoms fairly quickly once he realizes he is safe. He’s looking for a patient home that understands he may need a little time to adjust, but in return, you’ll get to watch his personality grow more every day. Gregory is proof that sometimes the sweetest dogs just need someone willing to give them a chance.
