Delilah has been let down by humans more than once, but somehow, she still believes every new person she meets might be her next best friend. At just three and a half years old, Delilah has already experienced more heartbreak than any dog should. As a tiny puppy, Delilah and her entire litter were abandoned in an open Tupperware container in the rain. Thankfully, they were rescued, and Delilah was adopted into what everyone hoped would be her forever home. More than three years later, she found herself abandoned again. When her owner moved away, Delilah was left behind in the yard. A kind neighbor brought her to safety, and she waited at the shelter for someone who was never coming back. That's when The Misfit Ranch stepped in. Today, Delilah is living her best foster life and proving every day what an absolute gem she is. First, let's address the obvious: Delilah is 53 pounds. Could she stand to lose a pound or two? Maybe. Is she offended that we're bringing it up publicly? Also maybe. But in her defense, snacks are delicious. HI - I'M MORGAN, and I'm a large (90-pound-plus) 7-year-old male Rottweiler in need of a foster or forever home. I've been waiting quite awhile for the right person or people to come along. I'm a very loyal Rottie and will be loving and protective to my person. I especially love women though would do fine with the right guy. I'm not fond of farm animals, and I'm also not a fan of some veterinarians. I do have some arthritis, so stairs do not work for me. I'm also bit flat-footed, though I get around fine. I currently take inexpensive glucosamine dog treats, which help greatly. Rottweiler or big-dog experience is essential! I would do best with a single person or a couple who wants a loyal companion and who has experience with the breed. I would also do best in a quiet home where my person or people are my world. I have done fine with some dogs, but will thrive as the only dog in the home. I'm currently in California and available to meet. Please email for an application.
