Lucy is a 68lb 5-year-old spayed Rottweiler mix. She recently arrived at Butte Humane Society and is waiting for her forever family. Lucy is much smaller than most Rottweilers and she is extremely affectionate too! We learned that she is deaf, and our hope is that someone will see the amazing dog that she is and care less about her hearing disability. Owning a deaf dog is a special kind of ownership, it requires commitment to training, building a strong bond and making sure to have a lot of fun along the way. Lucy will keep you smiling with her goofy personality. Come down to Butte Humane Society and meet her today! This is Capone. He is a spirited, 3 year old male rottweiler/black lab/great Dane mix. Capone is a very affectionate and snuggly dog, but unfortunately, I am not the right owner for him and have moved to a smaller space. He is protective and reactive at times to other people. He would do best with an experienced, calm but confident owner. He walks well on a leash, sits, stays, has good threshold manners and is potty trained. He is not crate trained and becomes destructive when left alone. He is good with other dogs. He has a high prey drive and should not be around cats or livestock. He has no experience with children, and would do best in a home without children. He is eager to please, learns quickly and needs space to run around.
