Story
Bandit is a sweet senior who wants nothing more than your love. He is the perfect combination of sweet and shy that makes your heart melt. While his pictures make him look big, he is actually a pocket sized rottweiler mix at about 55 pounds. He loves his trusted humans unconditionally and wants to shadow you whenever he can. Bandit is guaranteed to add lots of love, kisses and cuddles to your life. Where there is warmth you will find Bandit; warmth from the sun, from a heater, from a fur friend or from a human. He sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog and will plop himself on your lap for a nap, taking comfort in being with his human. Check out Bandit's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwlJxEafkJcZ23qSb8i_8EPM He loves to play with his foster sister and sometimes looks quite goofy, which just adds to his charming personality. He is crate-trained, fully house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is highly treat motivated and is learning in foster care to do things like sit, lay down, stay, be a gentleman, and wait. Bandit has lived with small dogs, dogs his size, adult men, and adult women and has done well with all. He does take a moment to warm up to new people, sounds, and places. Bandit has a few health issues going on that sometimes impact his behavior. He has hip dysplasia, hyperthyroidism, arthritis, and early stage kidney disease. While 99% of the time Bandit is an absolute sweetheart, if any of his medication is off, if he overdoes his physical exercise, or if he is feeling anxious he may growl or snap. Because of this, Bandit should only be adopted by an experienced dog handler. Bandit is currently on thyro-tabs, joint supplements, and anti-anxiety medication. The cost of all of his medication is less than $100 per month. Bandit deserves his forever family. If that might be you, be sure to fill out an adoption application: https://betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application/ Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet. Story
Bellmi is a beautiful blend of brains, loyalty, and playful sparkle. This sweet girl had a confusing start in life. She was gifted as a puppy and later abandoned when her owner could no longer keep her. While that sudden change made her understandably shy and skittish at first, Bellmi has shown just how resilient and loving she truly is. She may need a little time to warm up to new people, but once she feels safe, her affectionate and gentle nature blossoms. With patience and kindness, Bellmi becomes a devoted companion who enjoys closeness, playtime, and quiet bonding moments. She did snap once when she was freshly abandoned and frightened, but with stability and trust, she has warmed up beautifully to everyone around her. Bellmi is smart and eager to learn. She already knows several commands including sit, sit up, and beg. She’s playful without being overwhelming, with a moderate energy level that makes her a great match for a home that enjoys daily walks, enrichment, and interactive play. Rope toys and squeaky toys are her absolute favorites. She’s done wonderfully meeting other dogs when introductions are slow and respectful, and she shows a nice balance of gentle play and thoughtful social awareness. Bellmi is also naturally protective, making her attentive and connected to her people once she bonds. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who will reward your patience with deep affection and joyful energy, Bellmi may be your perfect match. She’s ready for a calm, loving home that will let her confidence continue to grow 🌱🐶

Story
Sadie's journey began as a lost soul in rural Stockton, but her story is just beginning. This adorable Rottweiler mix, estimated to be about 2 years old, is a testament to the power of love and care. Having spent such a long time in the shelter, she has a timid nature and needs a patient and loving person to help her blossom. The staff members here that see her every day learned her true, sweet personality and joy for belly rubs. She's flourished in our playgroups, showing she's a social butterfly with other medium-sized pups, and has mastered leash training. Sadie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to embark on her new life. Her adoption fee of $50 supports our efforts to rescue and rehome animals in need. Don't miss the chance to meet this wonderful girl! Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Hey there, I'm Beans! You may be curious how I acquired such a name, well it is because I likely have two bean cells, yes bean cells, because we are not sure if there r brains in there. I am the HAPPIEST boy you will ever meet, and I don't have a lick of stranger danger. ! I'm a energetic pup who loves exploring the great outdoors and making new furry friends (albeit recall I only have beans in my head so I'm a bit floppy and goofy, and likely will get yelled at by others for invading personal space, will I care or get my feelings hurt, absolutely not). When I'm not on an adventure, I'm a total cuddle bug and love attention from my humans. I'm crate trained as well as potty trained. I need some help with leash manners but showed great promise with a handler today that I do have a brain and can learn quickly (I just pretend to only have beans in there). I'm happy to be around other animals big or small. As a big, goofy boy, I can get a bit clumsy and sometimes trip over my own paws, so small animals do need to watch out for my wide load. But with some patience and practice, I'm sure I'll be a pro in no time. If you're looking for a loyal companion who'll be by your side every step of the way, I'd love to be your new best friend. Let's go on an adventure together!

Story
Meet Kruger. He is named after the amazing Kruger Foods company. They have sponsored him and covered all the medical costs for this great dog that was found on their property. When Kruger was found, his body told the story of a dog who had been on his own for far too long. He was thin and hungry, his coat was patchy, he had been eaten up by fleas, and several of his teeth were broken from scavenging just to survive. Despite everything he endured, Kruger never lost the quiet spark in his eyesthe one that said he still wanted to believe in people.Kruger is a middle-aged Australian Shepherd and Rottweiler mix (estimated at approximately 5 years old) with a gentle heart and a calm, soulful nature and weighs about 70 pounds. Since coming into our care, hes started to healhis coat is now healthy, and hes learning that a kind touch means safety, not pain. He enjoys walks, soft beds, and quiet moments with the people here. Kruger has known hardship, but he hasnt given up on love. What he needs now is a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished for the rest of his life. This grateful dog will show just how much love a rescued heart can give. $50.00 suggested adoption donation.
