Story
Meet Logan! This small sized Rottweiler mix came to the Shelter as a stray so staff do not have history about his life before now. Logan loves attention and is still learning to contain his exuberance when soliciting attention (by sometimes jumping up on people to get TLC). He is working on learning to sit nicely by people’s feet to soak up TLC. Logan loves playing fetch with tennis balls. Logan’s ideal adopter would provide above average daily mental and physical stimulation in the form of positive reinforcement based training and adventures out in the world. Logan has met dogs at the Shelter and has mixed feelings. It seems that he does not have a lot of history interacting with dogs and therefore is not quite sure what to do when they solicit play. A home with another dog savvy large breed dog may be a fit provided they meet at the Shelter prior to adoption. Logan may be just as happy as the only dog in a home. We do not have any history of Logan living with kids, cats, or small animals.Through April 30th – all dogs over 40 lbs have a ½ off adoption fee! Big dogs have lots of love to share so consider adding one to your family today!

Story
Hello, I am looking for a nice home for my dear fur baby Truly. She is a little over two years old. I unfortunately can not keep her. She deserves so much more love and attention than I am giving her. She is an out doors dog so she isn't trained to be indoors. She has a lot of energy to keep up with so having someone who is already experienced with having a dog shouldn't be a problem! I am also moving soon so I am hoping I can find her a new loving home within this month!

Story
Pete T is a 10 year old mostly black bi-color Rottweiller / German Shepherd mix.  He is happy boy whose favorite thing is to play fetch with his human.  Pete takes treats gently, loves to carry a ball around with him, and has the waggiest tail you are likely to encounter.  He is good with adults, dogs, and older kids.  Pete is a high energy, athletic dog.  He would love to have a strong, patient foster or adopter to guide him with basic commands and leash manners. Thulani does not charge an adoption fee and provides medical coverage for life.  Our seniors come with a supply of food, a cushy bed, and their favorite toys. ##1707838##

Story
Looks like: Rottweiler, Great Dane mix Male, 7 years old (estimated), 82 pounds This big dude with his big personality, big smile, and big heart, is the biggest lovebug around. He is dreaming of lovely humans that will snuggle with him all the time, hold his big paws, and tell him that everything is going to be alright from here on out. Gannon was found as a stray, emaciated and weak, and is now slowly building up his weight and muscle-tone. Currently, his stamina is a bit low, but at his foster home, he loves going on leisurely walks and yard saunterings, and he is starting to regain some strength. He begrudgingly accepts the fact that he is not a small lapdog, and politely lays down very close next to you on the couch. When given permission, Mr. Affection will gingerly put his legs on you and smush his head into your torso. Although he prefers the company of people, he also gets along well with dogs of all sizes and is very gentle with small dogs. We have not yet observed his behavior around cats or children, but assume that he will be friendly and tender around anyone. Gannon is perfectly house trained and he hardly ever barks; when he does it's just one "woof". When left home alone, he may initially whine and feel a bit anxious, but quickly calms down and settles in for a nap. On car rides, he is super mellow, chilling out on the back seat. This big snuggle buddy would love to find a home where he can spend lots of time with his humans and show everyone just how loving, sweet, trusting, and silly he is! Sweet Gannon joined us from Stanislaus Animal Services after being picked up as a stray. Want to see more of Gannon? His foster mom created his very own website!!
