My brother saved Batman from being ran over on the road in Dec. He was likely abandoned and lived on the street for at least a month. I met him over the holidays and decided to take him home with me. However, my work schedule has proven to be too draining for me to keep up with Batman’s needs and training.He’s a very anxious boy who tries to be good but doesn’t know how. While he has no bite history and doesn’t break skin, he jumps and mouths when he’s anxious/wants attention. He’s very reactive to other dogs and new humans. But, there’s a good boy at the bottom of the trazodone bottle!! He loves fetch, cuddles and car rides! He walks well on a leash under most conditions. He knows sit, lay down, paw, heel, drop it and leave it. He is muzzle trained and can walk with the muzzle for about 15 minutes. He is eager to please and endearingly clumsy.Batman needs someone who is affectionate and patient. He’s ~55 lbs, which makes his jumping and mouthing a physical and mental challenge.

Sweetie was surrendered after she had nine pups. The couple was going through a divorce. She was skin and bones, had an infection, and hook worms. We got her into the vet immediately and on antibiotics. She has finished her meds and worm treatment. Meet Snickers!Snickers is naturally playful and loving. He prefers to stick to someone like velcro until it`s time for a nap. He tells us he wants affection by nudging our hands while standing or laying his head on our knees when we sit. He loves everyone, especially kids, and wants to be friends with other dogs—and even cats. When playing, he`s very gentle! He won`t bite his toys hard enough to squeak, but is awed when we squeak it for him. He LIVES for walks. Because he`s smart, he learns commands quick and we`re working on teaching them to him!

He gets along with other dogs, though he can be a bit pushy, he is steerable and responds well to guidance.
