You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Aretha Aretha is a beautiful Rottweiler born around March 7, 2021, weighing approximately 99 pounds. This big girl has a gentle soul and a loving heart that is ready to find a new family to call her own. Aretha spent her entire life with her previous owner, who sadly passed away. She was then surrendered to the Hamilton County Animal Shelter by the family. Despite the changes she has experienced, Aretha has remained a sweet, loyal dog who enjoys being around people and forming close bonds with her humans. She can do well with other dogs when they are properly introduced, and she would thrive in a home that understands the importance of giving her time to settle in and feel secure. Aretha is currently heartworm positive and will need to be treated with Advantage Multi for six months, after which she will be retested. She is also believed to have flea allergies and a sensitivity to chicken, so she may benefit from a home willing to manage her diet and keep her on consistent flea prevention. Underneath it all, Aretha is a loyal, loving companion who simply wants stability and a family to love. With the right care and a patient home, she will make a devoted and wonderful addition to someone’s life. If you’re looking for a big-hearted girl who just needs a second chance, Aretha may be the perfect match. Amazing Grace Bully Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Pensacola, Florida. Hello- my name is Zora. I am a sweet BBD (big, beautiful dog) looking for a family to love. I ended up in a crowded, rural county shelter. Thankfully, Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took me in and provided all of the general and medical care I needed to be ready for my forever family!I am 4 years old and weigh about 80-85 lbs. I am a true gentle giant! I walk well on leash and know several of my basic cues. I seem to get along well with other dogs; but let’s please do proper introductions first if you already have another dog in the family.
