Story
Nino is a 1-year-old male Rottie available for adoption at CCHS! Nino is a very large, very good boy with exactly two brain cells and a little stub-tail that constantly wags. He loves treats and squeaky toys and will roll on his back for belly rubs. He's quite energetic and very strong, and loves saying hello to people. Nino has a limited known history with other dogs and he has had some big feelings seeing other dogs here at CCHS, so he may require slow, careful introductions with other dogs. Come meet this goofy boy at CCHS!

Story
Sky is a 6-year-old female Rottie available for adoption at CCHS! Unfortunately, Sky's previous caretaker passed way, so now she's in need of a new home. Sky is a Very Good Girl who did well with other dogs and children in her previous home. She is a very calm, mellow girl - a sweet "gentle giant" - and she loves being next to her person. A true "weighted blanket!" She also has the wiggliest butt. Sky is on a low-calorie light kibble for weight loss. Come meet this sweet, big girl at CCHS! Sky is a STAFF FAVORITE pet! Here's what Animal Care staff member, Ryan, has to say about her: "I adore Sky because she is a bottomless well of love and affection. Anyone she meets, she will promptly and unabashedly lean into, asking for head pats and scratches behind her little ears; it is simply her way of greeting people. If you’re lucky enough to become one of her favorite people (as I like to believe I have), she wants nothing more than the chance to flop over onto your lap and let you rub her big belly, closing her sweet little eyes and smiling ear-to-ear. I cannot get through an outing without her doing this several times, which is why she’s my favorite dog to walk. Though she may be a hard dog to motivate for physical activity — she won’t be a hiking or running dog — Sky is perfect for anyone looking for true companionship in an animal. I see her cuddling up to her person on a cozy couch, asking for belly rubs and happily dozing off on their lap at the end of a long day of lounging around. If Sky sounds like the dog for you, come by and visit her. She’ll be excited to meet you."

The Momma of these babies is Aspen and she weighs 47 pounds. She is not telling who Daddy is. These babies are very playful and affectionate. Won't you open your heart and home to one of them? Hi! I'm Fern, a bundle of joy packed into a puppy-sized package! My days are filled with playing with my toys and making new friends. I love giving kisses and cuddles to everyone I meet. I'm always ready for a game or an adventure. Life is so exciting, and I dream of sharing all these fun moments with a forever family who loves playtime as much as I do. If you're looking for a loyal friend to bring smiles and energy into your home, I'm the perfect match. Let's make wonderful memories together! All Pet Central Helps animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Records are sent via email. An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH! adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier.
