You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Welcome to the wonderful world of Kevin, where we are always happy! Kevin is a young, friendly, active dog. He is estimated to be around 1 or 2 years old. As close as we can guess, he appears to be a Rottweiler- Labrador cross. He is as sweet as they come- he loves treats, big slobbery kisses and sitting in his person's lap while watching tv. Fair warning, he weighs about 88 pounds, and its hard to see the television over his head, but if you are looking for a giant lap dog, Kevin will do his best to please! Kevin is crate trained, and a very peaceful and quiet boy when he needs to be crated. Kevin loves other dogs and very much wants to play with them, but he needs another active dog friend to play with as he is very physical when playing. Kevin is very respectful of people, but he is young so he sometimes forgets how strong he is. He is working on not jumping to greet people. He is smart, athletic, loving, and would make a great partner for life! He'll thoroughly enjoy a home with a fenced in yard as he is still working on his leash manners and he's quite strong after all, a yard will give him a safe outlet to burn some energy off so he can return to his couch potato ways!   Kevin's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines and monthly preventatives. Also included in the adoption fee is a basic training course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha! Kevin is seeking an indoor only home, if you would like to meet him please submit an adoption application on our website.  Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept their pets as indoor animals only, altered and kept current on vaccines and preventatives. Mowgli, the MAN! A pure 60 pounds of love, cuddles, and affection - He is as SWEET as can be, and has no issue cuddling up on the sofa, bed, chair, anywhere, he's there! His big brown eyes set him apart from everyone, you can just see the love radiating from him, that he so badly yearn to share! Mowgs gets along splendidly with other dogs, he's referred to as the 'big brother' of playgroups, and does AMAZING. Mowgli knows his basic commands, has crate-training down, and is the EASIEST to work with further due to his LOVE for food. No, if Mowgli could, he'd down an entire bag of dog chow and go for seconds. He's a hambone! But we don't mind, in fact, it's the best! Mowgs has been lucky enough to spend quite a lot of time with me in the lobby so far, as he is a notorious fly-catcher, and I may be a little biased for this handsome man! He is a quick learner, and nothing but a big love bug, people pleaser. He enjoys spending his time with his head in laps, or at the feet of his people, but don't put it past this guy to make a leap into a lap! He will prove you wrong, and that he too, is as itsy bitsy as a Pekingese! If you're looking to adopt a dog for the pure loyalty, love, and companionship for you, your family, or a pal for your other doggies, he makes the PERFECT fit! My adoption fee is only $210! This fee covers all of my vaccines, microchip, nex/heartguard, heartworm test, AND my spay/neuter!
