If you're interested in fostering to adopt, please reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org.- Busy pup who loves to connect with people through play and other activities; will likely enjoy physical activity and mental challenges to keep their bodies and brains busy- Enjoys spending time with dogs who have a similar play style- Loves going on walks and does best with a harness- Loves to learn and has great focus - especially if you have treats - so would be a lot of fun to train Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs (dog intro required)- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 50 Age: 4yrs 0mths 0wks

And I am one of them, but I am THE CUTEST, tHE SMARTEST and the HAPPIEST of ALL of them :) Penelope is my name and it may be a little of challenge to spell it but there is no other challenge with me ;) I have been treated for my cherry eyes (no not like the topping of a sundae :) and my heart worms and now it is OUR TIME! I am sweet and cuddly and loving and will LET YOU KNOW when you need to love on me more :D I am great with other dogs and love to play play play!!
