Meet Coal! 🖤
Hi! I’m Coal, a 1½-year-old pittie mix with a heart full of love and a whole lot of personality. Honestly, what makes me special is… well, me! I’m a generous lover of people and dogs, and I truly just enjoy being around my humans and furry friends. I’m not overly needy, but don’t be surprised if I give you a little lean to remind you I’m there.
I’m still young and learning every day, and the best part is—I want to learn! Watching me figure things out is apparently pretty entertaining, especially when my facial expressions go from complete confusion to, “Ohhh, I get it!” And just wait until you see my smile.
I love playing fetch and would happily keep a ball in my possession at all times if you let me! I also love running around the yard, feeling the wind in my face, and taking in all the exciting smells. After all that activity, though, I’m more than ready to squeeze onto the couch for some snuggles. If there isn't room, don’t worry—I’ll find some.
I’m potty trained, do very well in my kennel when my family is away, and even choose to nap there sometimes when the door is left open. I’m also not food aggressive and get along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes.
One thing that is especially important for my future home: I need another playful, balanced dog to share it with. Having a canine companion will give me someone to play with, learn from, and grow alongside—and, most importantly, my very own built-in best friend. I currently live with four dogs of all different sizes and absolutely love having them around, so another friendly, playful pup is a must for me!
I’m very social and great with kids, too! I may get a little excited and jump up when meeting new people, but I’m learning that “off” means all four paws belong on the floor.
My dream home is filled with love, has a couch my family doesn't mind sharing with me, a playful and balanced canine best friend, and ideally a fenced yard where we can run, explore, and enjoy life together.
