Story
Pearl is your girl if you are looking for an easy dog that will love you but require minimal maintenance. Her foster mom reports she is the easiest foster they`ve ever had! She welcomes human interaction, whether it be from adults or children. She is `meh` when it comes to cats. Pearl is easy to handle for baths, nail trims, leashing, etc. This girl is the definition of laid back!! She loves meal time and treats and cracks up her Fofam with her food dance. She also gets the same Pearl-level excited for walks and going bye-bye:) Dogs over 40 pounds are always FREE. Adoptions include spay/neuter, up-to-date shots, one free training session with Micky`s House, one year free membership @ PG&J`s Dog Park, and more! CHAMPION dogs come with extra perks! Core vaccines for 3 years, Lifetime Jefferson County pet license, freedom harness with leash, bag of starter food, six months of heartworm preventative, and crate upon request!LMAS Animal House3516 Newburg Rd, LouisvilleOpen daily 12–6pm Adopt, foster, volunteer & more: linktree.com/yourcityshelter#Yourcityshelter #Todayattheshelter

Story
Cookie is a hyper active loving, goofball. I adopted him from LMAS. He loves playing tug and chewing on his bones. He will tear up any cloth or soft toy in record time so harder chew toys are better. He is crate trained as well as potty trained. He has great potential to learn but I dont have the time to do so before I have to give him up. He is able to sit, leave it, go outside/inside. I've noticed he follows hand queues better than vocal most of the time. He has a grain allergy, I have had him on Pure Balance from walmart. I have 2 children in the home 8 and 12 he does wonderfully with them but has shown aggression toward other dogs unprovoked. Does not do good with cats as well. Please message me if interested. Needs a home with no other pets. He is hesitant of new things still. He is trained not to go into the kitchen, knows when its bedtime (I tell him goodnight), he sleeps in his kennel w/ the door open. He needs a home filled with love, he flourishes and learns quickly!
