Story
Buddy is a 11 month old purebred Rottweiler. He is the best! He’s curious, cleaver and cute! We are moving and won’t have enough space for him to live his best life. We’re hoping to find someone that will give him love and attention, the space he needs to grow. He has met a few dogs in our neighborhood and does good. He has not met any cats that I know of. He was a little spooked by our neighbor’s ducks they were raising. They flapped their wings when he got about 4 feet from them and he jumped back and ran back to the house really fast. He also helped catch some mice out in the neighbor’s shed, he got pretty good at sniffing them out. He’s got a good amount of energy, but that’s to be expected as he is still a pup. We hate to see him go but are hopeful we’ll find his forever person that can give him the life we can not.

Story
Meet Scottie 2 Rottie! Scottie's story starts out a sad one but he is well on his way to the good life now. This young man got himself locked up at animal control. The high stress environment did not bode well for Scottie as he's already an anxious guy and had developed some habits that the sheltered deemed unmanageable in that environment. Luckily, he foster parents stepped up to bust him out of the pound and give him a shot at working through some of his "unmanageable" behaviors. He has been working with his fosters and a trainer and has been moving in the right direction. His "bad habits" included jumping and being mouth have been virtually nonexistent since being in the fosters home who understand a young rottie's behavior when they weren't given a strong foundation as a small puppy and have grown in a large brute of a guy who will test his boundaries. In true rottie fashion, of course. Anyone who understands this breed in general, knows that training is going to need to continue on or else he will continue to test those boundaries. The trainer says he LOVES to learn and is so smart. He has been started on Fluoxetine and it has done wonders for the generalized anxiety he experiences. He would do best in a home with another medium to large dog/dogs as he loves to play but given his size and age loves to play rough so may be too much for the smaller dogs. Overall, Scottie is very sweet, loves attention and will gladly take pets and scratches from anyone willing to give them. Breed: Rottweiler Estimate DOB: 6/22/22 Size: 100+lb Good with Dogs: Yes (Large preferred) Good with Cats: No Good with Kids: No - he doesn't know his size Housetrained: Yes Adoption Fee: $500 https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FEHR/Dog

Story
Location: Lakeville, MN My foster family says that I'm a handsome boy with really good manners. I'm shy at first but once I warm up to you, I'm very sweet and love to snuggle and get pets. I'm most comfortable when I'm close to my foster family or the resident dog. I'm potty trained and working on kennel training. I don't get into trouble at all when I'm roaming around in the house. I sleep in my foster mom's room at night on the floor and you don't hear a peep out of me. When I wake up in the morning, I wag my tail non-stop and I'm excited for a new day. I'm really quiet and only bark when the resident dog barks at someone walking by. I'm still learning how to play with toys and walk on a leash. I'm so gentle when I take a treat or a toy from you. I have a lot of love to give and can't wait to meet my forever family! -------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
