Story
Bubba Lee is looking for a person to call his own. His ideal home is one where he will get to be loyal to his person, without other pets and children. It's not that he can't handle short interactions, as long as an experienced dog person is holding his leash, its just that he prefers his space from other pets for day to day life. Bubba Lee is a heeler/rottie mix and appears to be used to staying outside. He can be stand-offish but comes around with food. Bubba will show resource guarding behaviors around food, and will need to be fed separately. Weighs about 42 pounds and his estimated DOB 4/15/2018All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open form 9am-4pm, seven days a week. Story
Meet Ginger Snap! She is an adorable ginger colored Rottweiler/ Lab mix who is estimated to be around 7 months old. She was dumped as a puppy along with her sister so she has had a pretty rough start which has caused her to be a little shy. Once she warms up to you is is the sweetest thing. She is playful and loves all the cuddles and pets she can get. The person who found her was able to teach her a few commands which are- Outt (means NO) and Get Busy (Means Go Potty). She has been treated for Flea/Tick and has been wormed. Come meet Ginger snap and you are going to fall in love! Story
Meet Auggie 5971 As 2-year-old Auggie gazes at you with his non-stop smiles, it is hard not to respond with one of your own. He kept his attention nicely focused on his bark park friend and performed an instant sit on request. After his proud pose, he came up to the photographer, who then rewarded him with a pat on the head and a gentle touch to his ears. Auggie smiled an even bigger grin letting it be known that he really enjoys a soothing ear massage. Auggie has never met a human of any age that he didn't like but he would be happiest in a home as the one and only canine.

Story
Meet Moses 6687 In some of his pictures, Moses gives you his best stoic impersonation as he shows off his desire to please and his strength of character by complying to the many and varied requests for poses by the demanding photographer. During the bark park escapade, Moses also demonstrated his true self to be an animated, vibrant, and spirited canine whose easy-going, laid-back, nothing-ruffles-me persona gives you a sense of comfortable companionship and a just-be-yourself ease. Moses enjoyed the opportunity to investigate the agility playground equipment and patiently followed the photographer’s directions although he did pause long enough to gaze at the human with a subtle but exasperated facial expression that clearly stated, “you aren’t really going to ask me to do this again, are you?” Moses also revealed his canine sense of humor as he agreed to sit next to his cartoon friend and share his “you got to be kidding… but I would do anything for you” stare. Moses is a strong dog but is amazingly gentle in his interactions and takes treats so respectfully that you may not be sure that you have been touched. Moses loves a caring contact and does his best to get as close to you as possible. Even though he gives you a great “nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen” glance, he is a happy, joyful character who would love to share his life with a best forever friend. Cross the wilderness and check out Moses at the Humane Society for Animals in Rogers, AR. You don’t need an appointment to spend some “let’s get to know each other better” time with Moses.
