WILLOW MUST BE PICKED UP NEAR HESPERIA CA AT HER FOSTER HOME Meet Willow, a sweet adult dog who is as independent as she is brave. She's incredibly smart, which shines through in her playful antics and loyal demeanor. Willow thrives in a quiet home environment where she can enjoy her own space and time and would do well with a mature adult person or couple and no young children. She gets along well with cats, but can be selective with her canine companions so being an only dog is an option. Willow is eager to be part of a family again and have her own home, and she is a good watchdog who will alert you if a stranger comes to your home.. Willow lived her first few years with a retired couple and slept in their bed with them. Sadly her daddy became ill and they had to rehome her. Despite her independent spirit, Willow still loves to engage in walks on her leash and other fun activities and to show her affectionate side to those she trusts. She will spend her day on your lap watching tv ( she is housebroken) and knows how to use a dog door to let herself outside to potty, lay in the sun or play in the water in her kiddie pool. She would make an ideal companion for those seeking a loyal and playful friend. Willow's unique blend of sweetness, friendliness, and independence, coupled with her bravery and loyalty, makes her a wonderful choice for adoption. Meet Ruger! He’s a 4 year old handsome big boy, weighing 120lbs. He’s always eager to please, gets along great with small and large dogs, and loves kids of all ages. He’s lived with children ages 3-18, and other dogs. Ruger is a goofy, gentle giant who is always ready for an adventure. He is up to date on all his shots and is microchipped. He’s very sweet and gets excited when he meets new people. He knows commands and is house trained. He does have to take daily medications for the rest of his life. The meds work amazing for him and are not expensive. Ruger is looking for his forever home. He would love to be with another dog and would do great with a couple, a family or a single person. He’s full of love and a true companion dog. He needs a yard due to his size and to be with someone who’s owned a large dog before. Ruger deserves to get the live he gives.

I'm New Here! I've just arrived at the rescue and am still settling in. My volunteer friends are spending lots of time with me, getting to know my unique personality and helping me feel safe and comfortable. I am currently in boarding as a foster home has not been found for me yet. What We Know So Far • I just finished being evaluated by our parter vet to make sure I'm healthy - and I am! • I'm learning the daily routine and making new friends while in boarding. I am very nervous and shy, but I'm making progress daily. • My volunteer buddies are starting to see what makes me happy. • I recently started working with a trainer, who is helping my gain the confidence I need to succeed in an adopting home. I'm excited to find my forever family and would love to tell you more about myself soon. Please check back for updates as my new friends learn more about me!
