You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Annie is almost 6 months. She weighs approximately 45 pounds. Her brother's dna came back Rottweiler, great pyr, cattle dog, lab,shepherd and mountain cur. Her mom, the last pic appears to be a lab great pyrenees. Annie is a fun girl, ready to play! She can keep up with the adult pyrs. She has been exposed to other dogs, cats and barnyard critters here. Annie is doing well with house breaking and is learning to walk on leash. Come meet our dogs on Saturdays 10 am to noon or by appointment. They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash. You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries. Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called. A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place. If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid. Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger. Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized. This may involve young puppies be given until a certain age to be altered. All animals are up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate. Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment. We show animals by appointment only.
