He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he’s friendly and easygoing. Dexter is well-mannered and has clearly had a great foundation—he’s crate trained, housebroken, and rides calmly in the car. Dexter is dog social and enjoys his walks, thanks to being easy and relaxed on leash. He’s a typical male Rottie: loyal, steady, and happiest when he knows his routine. Because of his sensitive nature, Dexter would do best in a home without young children. He has not been cat tested. If you’re looking for a solid, well-behaved companion who just needs a little time to build trust, Dexter may be your perfect match. He can be timid at first, but once he gets to know you, his true personality shines through: relaxed, happy, and soaking up every brush and gentle pet he can get.
