Rasputia is a delightful girl! She’s a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She knows “sit,” and because she’s smart and treat motivated, you could probably teach her other basic skills in a jiffy. At under 50 pounds, Rasputia is an easy size and walks pretty well on a leash. She also seems dog friendly, but we always recommend a meet and slow introduction to any dogs you may already have. Cub is a charming, small Rottweiler who could steal your heart. In the play yard recently, his main occupation was to sit with a volunteer in companionable serenity and get some face and neck scratches too. He walks well on a leash. He arrived at the shelter as an owner surrender with a German Shepherd companion, so he might like a new canine companion. You can bring your dog down for a meet and greet.

Meet Charybdis, a.k.a. Ribs!!! She is most lovable girl around. Her large size is nothing compared to her large heart. Her only quirk is that somewhere in her past she must have had a scary experience, causing her to be fearful of men. This doesn't mean that she cant learn to accept any male bonding, she just needs work and someone to show her not all men are scary. She does well with male dogs and loves women as she tends to find comfort in them. She enjoys walks and does very well on a leash. She would need a large yard or a good walk to keep her active and busy. We are not sure about her with young children, but doesn't show signs of aggression and does not jump on people.
