Story
Introducing Reyna, the regal and affectionate Rottweiler mix who lives up to her name as the Queen of the Good Girls. Reyna is ready to reign supreme in her forever home, surrounded by love and care. Reyna's journey began when she was found on the highway, abandoned and in desperate need of help. Despite her challenging start in life, Reyna's resilience and loving nature shone through. She captured the hearts of those who discovered her, and her transformation began. This beautiful girl is a Rottweiler mix, displaying the distinctive markings and strong physique of her breed. While her exact mix may be a mystery, her gentle and loving demeanor sets her apart as a special companion. Reyna is best suited to a home with older kids who can understand and respect her needs. Although she is a sweetheart, her size and strength may be better suited to older children who can handle her with care. She is not compatible with cats, so a feline-free household is necessary. When it comes to her fellow canines, Reyna prefers larger dogs. A meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure compatibility and a harmonious living environment, however she can go to a family out of town who either has no others or an easy going dog. Reyna thrives on positive interactions and socialization, making her a wonderful companion for those with existing canine family members. This majestic girl is crate-trained and does not experience separation anxiety. She is comfortable spending time in her crate and will appreciate having a safe and cozy space to call her own. Reyna has already learned the simple trick of sitting for treats, showcasing her intelligence and willingness to please. Reyna has a list of favorite things that bring her joy. She relishes car rides, delighting in the wind blowing through her fur as she accompanies her family on their adventures. Rolling in the grass and exploring the neighborhood during walks are among her cherished pastimes. Reyna loves running and exercising her energetic nature, so an active lifestyle is essential for her well-being. When it's time to unwind, Reyna appreciates soft blankets and toys that provide comfort and entertainment. She adores spending time with her beloved humans, soaking up their affection and companionship. Reyna is a loyal and devoted companion, always ready to be by your side. While Reyna has her preferences, there are a couple of dislikes to note. She is not fond of cats, and water is not her favorite element. Understanding and respecting these preferences will help ensure a harmonious home environment for Reyna. Reyna's story is one of resilience and triumph over adversity. From her initial discovery, where she was found dumped on the highway, to her miraculous transformation into a loving and gentle soul, she has shown incredible strength and a capacity for love. If you're searching for a royal canine companion, Reyna is waiting to be crowned the queen of your heart and home. With her regal presence, gentle nature, and unwavering loyalty, she will bring immeasurable joy to your life. Welcome Reyna into your family, and let her reign over a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventures by your side. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. SO, you need to be my boss, it's not hard- just let me know you are someone I can trust to keep me safe and take EXCELLENT care of me- with love and more love and I will LET you be in control. Simple as that :) I am a big boy, about 75#, with GORGEOUS colors and markings. I will melt your heart when you look into my amber eyes and into my sweet soul. So don't hesitate, ADOPT ME!! Opie is the name my previous "owner' gave me... and I know my name, so the rescuers won't change it... but, my "owner" didn't even call me by name... he called me "it"..... so the rescuer hung up on him. He does NOT deserve me, I am an AMAZING and GENTLE GIANT BOY. So I am here now, and loved and safe and getting ready for a REAL HOME. I am a Rottweiler, all the markings and the size but almost like a reverse-color Rottie :) My breed is a loyal breed, a loving and smart breed, a happy and hearty breed. I am a great dog for a smart and LOYAL owner only. Hi! I'm Bonnie! I'm an utterly adorable and crazily sweet pup who's in need of a best friend! I takes me a minute to get comfortable with new people, but once I do, I'll sit politely and wag my little tail with happiness while my head does the silliest tilts! I do just fine entertaining myself when I want to play alone, but I love playing tug of war with a friend! I also love going outside- plus, I walk great on a leash already! If you're on the hunt for an extra special pal to join you in your life, that's me! Bonnie! So don't wait! Come on by the SPCA today and take me to my forever home! Click PLAY to watch my video !

Story
Hey there! I'm Clifford! While I'm not red, I'm certainly a big dog with the cutest waggy tail and soft giant head you've ever seen! Though I can be a little nervous sometimes around new people and in new situations, I just need some time to feel comfortable before I can settle into my own. One of my favorite things to do is play with toys, chew, catch, chase...all of the things! I love to be outside also, taking in all the sights, sounds and smells! With my favorite people, I love getting lots of good scritches and settling down for a cozy nap at the end of a day filled with fun. Though I may need some patience in the beginning, I am sure to be a rewarding companion that keeps your heart full and your face smiling everyday. So, if you think I might be the pup for you, then let's meet!

Story
Zeke is a drop dead gorgeous mixed breed big boy (Rottie? Cur? Plott Hound? Your guess is as good as ours!) He weighs around 60lbs and is approximately 2-3 years old. He loves to play with other dogs but can get a little overstimulated and plays rough, so his ideal dog playmate would be similar in size and energy level and have the patience to deal with a goofy dog. He can be a bit of a bull in a china shop, but he’s just sooo excited to be on to his next adventure in life! Zeke was saved by another rescue with 60+ other dogs from a hoarding situation in KY and has spent the last few months in boarding, but he’s working very hard on his manners and becoming a gentleman. He will keep himself entertained with toys for hours, is fabulous in the crate, and is potty trained with a consistent routine. He loves walks, but he’s a strong dog and his loose leash walking is a work in progress. Zeke would definitely benefit from a fenced yard, but we won’t rule out an otherwise perfect home that can give him an outlet for his energy in other ways. Due to his size and strength he is looking for a home with no cats, small dogs, or young children. Zeke is fully vetted and ready for adoption, but you can always try our foster-to-adopt program if you want to make sure he’s the perfect fit for you. If you’re interested in adopting Zeke or getting pre-approved for any of our other dogs, please fill out an adoption application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt
