Story
This handsome man is a 3yr old, 100lb Rottweiler/lab mix with so much love to give. He spends most of his time napping on the couch or chewing on a bone. Tank is crated during the day and goes in great with a small treat. He is house trained and sits by the back door to let us know he needs to go out. This guy is a total prince when it comes to going potty, so when he goes outside he will find a spot close to the door, do his business, and come back to the door immediately. Tank prefers to go outside only when necessary . He loves to do zoomies inside and outside if there’s snow on the ground. He knows “sit”, “down”, and “gentle” when taking treats and is very food motivated. He plays well with most dogs but needs a proper introduction. He loves car rides and going on adventures - he walks great on a leash, but can’t tolerate long walks/hikes due to a past paw injury. Tank would do best in a home without cats and if children are present, that they are 10 years of age or older. If you think he would fit right in apply at www.buffalounderdogs.com ##1487289##

Story
Meet Ruby! She is a three year old, Rottweiler (although my foster parents aren’t convinced that’s all I am). She is so happy to be in Buffalo! She gets along great with her foster brother, and has a soft easy going temperament, even if he’s being a little crazy. She LOVES cuddling on the couch, and chewing on her bones. Going on a nice walk is another one of her favorite activities! She walks calmly by herself but does like to race during her pack walks with her foster brother. She is potty trained but needs extra encouragement when it’s raining. She is crate trained and will go in willingly, but won’t say no to a treat either! She is so so sweet and is ready to meet her forever family! to apply for Ruby visit www.buffalounderdogs.com ##2012216##

Story
Hello, I'm Rumble! According to my foster mom, I've got the heart of a big, playful puppy, and sometimes I forget that I'm a larger dog when I'm having a blast. So, if you have smaller dogs at home, we might just need a little adjustment period to get along famously. But here's the thing—when it comes to cats, I'm not the most purr-fect playmate, so if you've got a furry feline in the house, I might not be the ideal match. Now, if you believe you can provide me with a loving and caring home, please don't hesitate to apply today. And yes, I may be soaking up the Texas sunshine right now, but the good news is that I'm ready to hit the road and make my way to your heart and home. All it takes is a $230 transport fee, and I'll be on my way to becoming your loyal companion.Let's make it happen! Apply today, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together. Thank you for considering me for adoption!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! You guessed it, we named her Sweetie because she is so deserving of that name, too sweet and loving. This 5 year old young girl just wants to be loved and hang around you, she craves human attention and I am giving her all I can. But she has to share with the other foster dogs here. Sweetie is good about sharing and happy to live with her foster siblings big and small. She gets along with everything and everyone. I do not have cats so I do not know about them. Sweetie weighs 56 pounds right now but she was thinner when I got her. She needs to put on a few more pounds but she is a petite size Rottweiler. Sweetie came to my attention by some out of town visitors, she kept going into the hotel they were staying and laying on the cool floor. We are in San Antonio, Texas and we are having a very hot summer. The visitors fed her for a few days and reached out to me for help. Before I could get over there to get her, ACS, our very high kill shelter picked her up . Turns out Sweetie had a microchip so ACS contacted her owners to pick her up, they never came and Sweetie ended up on death row simply because he owners abandoned her. I immediately pulled her from the facility and brought her into my home. She was confused at first and didn't know how to act but it was clear that she really appreciated the love and attention, she gobbled it up. Sweetie has adjusted and really ready for her own home. Sweetie is spayed, vaccinated, rabes, dewormed and microchipped under my rescue and healthy. She has a lot more life to live, can you be her hero? Her medical records will come with her. Thank you.   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         April 16, 2024, 2:34 pm

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!!! Meet Max, 3.5 years old, weighs 88 lbs, he has a beautiful shinny coat and a total sweetheart heart. Max is a mild and mellow gentlemen who just wants a family or single person to be his buddy. His activity level is normal but he loves to go on works and play around. He walks very well on a leash, does not pull, he is happy to just enjoy getting out. He has been around teenagers and adults. Max is very well behaved, takes treats very gently, knows how to sit and give you his paw. He is quiet and very low maintenance. I cannot say enough good things about this boy.I listed that his attitude is unknow towards dogs because he has not been around other dogs that often and when he did a family member brought over there dog and Max got jealous when the dog tried to get too much loving from the owner. As far as cats go, Max has been around them and ignored them but he has also showed interest in them and gone after them but not in a threatening way. Max needs a new home because his owners are working more hours and leaving Max to occupy himself for long hours. Once they get home, Max goes to the door, gets his leash and lets them know he wants to go for a walk. Max is completely house trained and potty trained. He can be left in the house along, he has never been crated and there is no need to confine him. This guy is obedient.I can provide other pictures of him.He is up to date on all vaccinations and is heartowrm negaitve. His medical records will come with him at the time of adoption. Story
Archie is a handsome almost 4 -year-old pup weighing around 45 to 50 pounds. With his endearing personality and gentle demeanor, Archie has won over the hearts of everyone he meets. He's particularly fond of feline friends and gets along famously with female dogs. However, he prefers and needs a home without male dogs, as he feels more comfortable in their absence. Despite past uncertainties, Archie's resilience shines through. He's a bit shy at first, needing some time and patience to acclimate to new surroundings and people. But once he feels secure, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion, ready to shower his new family with endless love and devotion. Archie is a pro at crate training and is already neutered. Plus, rest assured, he'll be up-to-date on all his vaccinations before joining his forever home. In a gesture of goodwill, Archie's adoption fee will be offered at a special reduced rate for the right family. This is our way of ensuring that Archie finds the perfect match and his forever home. One touching testament to Archie's sweet nature is the heartfelt goodbye from his previous caretaker. Through tears, he spoke of Archie's goodness and the joy he would bring to his future family. It's clear that Archie's love knows no bounds, and he's ready to share it with you. If you believe Archie could be the missing piece to complete your family puzzle, don't hesitate to reach to fill out an application to arrange a meet-and-greet with this incredible pup. Let's make 2024 the year Archie finds his happily ever after.

Meet Rosie, a super sweet girl with a heart as big as Texas! Rosie had a bit of an adventurous stint as a stray, but now she's all set to find her perfect forever home.Rosie is a furry socialite who gets along wonderfully with her fellow doggie pals. However, she does have one little quirk—cats and Rosie aren't exactly a match made in heaven. Those frisky felines tend to trigger her playful chase instincts! When it comes to humans, Rosie is a total cuddlebug. She's convinced she's a lap dog and won't hesitate to hop right up for some quality snuggle time. But here's the fun part: Rosie's got a spirited teenage attitude. When she's told "no" or caught doing something she shouldn't, she's not one to back down quietly—she'll talk back with all the sass!If you're ready to bring a sweet and silly addition to your family, Rosie is more than prepared for her forever home. And yes, she's absolutely transportable, so don't let the Texas distance discourage you, transport only costs $230. Apply today and let the fun begin!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas.
