Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Meet LUCAS, a wonderfully happy guy who loves everyone and plays with everyone in his foster home.  His temperament is the best, no aggression or guarding issues with him.  He actually shares his crate with a younger and smaller puppy who has attached himself to LUCAS. LUCAS is 36 pounds and will probably be a large-medium dog, at least 60 pounds.  When he was younger he looked much more like a Rottweiler but as he has grown he is showing signs of having Labrador Retriever in him but the Rottweiler is prominent.  LUCAS is currently 4 1/2 months old.  He is completely crate and potty trained.  Once he door opens to his crate he heads straight to the backdoor to go potty and he stays out there to play with everyone.  LUCAS is an equal opportunity playmate.  He loves toys and playing tug-of-war. Actually this is a sweet guy who would make any family happy to have him as their pet.  If you are interested in adopting LUCAS please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         March 12, 2026, 9:09 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.You would be winning a prize to get this super duper sweet little girl.  Well she is not so little, kind of like 65 pounds and she will get about 10 bigger as she develops.  Meet BUBBLES who will cuddle and give kisses, she is loyal and loving, kind and gentle.  As part of her makeup you would be getting a non-reactive, friendly and social girl.    This sweetheart was abandoned at a park in San Antonio, TX.  So loyal that she was just sitting in the sand pit waiting for her humans to come back and get her.  After 3 days she decided she would follow her foster mom home with their dog.     Did I tell you she is affectionate and a love bug who gets along with other dogs and cats and she thinks she is a lap dog so be prepared to get all the love your have been looking for from BUBBLES, she gives the best hugs.     On the 2nd day at her foster home she allowed the 13 year old to bath and trim her nails without any fuss. Of course she runs and play like Tinkerbell with the foster's pit mix who can be kind of bossy at times but BUBBLES has no reaction towards it she just goes to play with her toys until our dog is ready to play again.   She is very comfortable sitting quietly playing with her toys and so not in the way of anything.  BUBBLES totally respects the boundaries of the cat and she is friendly with her.   BUBBLE is estimated to be approximately 1 1/2 years old and completely healthy.  She will guard your property in a curious kind of way and occasionally bark at perceived threats but isn't a big runner or barker.    BUBBLES has been in foster care for 6 weeks and her foster family simply love her but know she deserves to have a home of her own.  It would be great if she had a pet playmate but she would be just as happy as an only dog.  She would be your constant and best companion.   BUBBLES can be trusted unsupervised in the yard and has not tried to dig or escape.   If you are interested in adopting BUBBLES, please submit an application on the website below or give us a call.      www.roxysk9rescue.org          ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Maximus is a giant puppy stuck in a big, Big, BIG dog’s body.  He doesn’t understand that he’s 94 pounds and will routinely play with his whole body coming at you.  He is 2 years old and may increase his weight to at least 100 pounds.  He is generally outgoing and loose bodied, walks happily on the leash (very strong and does pull), takes directions well and has been friendly with everyone he’s met. He rides in the car without getting sick.  He is treat motivated and very easy to train.  If you had some treats with you when you walk, he will stick by your side.  Maximus originated from a rural country shelter originally because his young owners did not have any Rottweiler or large dog experience.  He is the kind of dog that needs to be stimulated and allowed to run off his energy by having “play time” outside.  Maximus is a very sweet and trainable dog - but wasn’t given much direction early in his life.  He is very active and loves, loves to play.  It is like he is trying to talk to you begging you to play.  He definitely has something to say!  He has good recall / knows how to “sit, stay, bring it “and has a true desire to play and learn.  His foster mom is working with him daily on redirecting his playful attention to some downtime behavior. Through our interactions it seems like he was not given enough time, attention, or stimulation to keep a dog of his size and breed stimulated.  And like a true Rottweiler he loves to play in water.  If you do not own a pool in your home, I would recommend getting a kiddy pool so he can lounge around as well as happily play with his toys in the water.  In the home he has experience with kids, another dog, and is crate trained and is very comfortable with a living indoors setting.  Small children who don’t understand boundaries though are probably not recommended as Maximus might accidentally knock them over.  We recommend that he be adopted into a home with kids over 12 years old.  MAXIMUS is very toy oriented.  He does not resource guard and he does let go when commanded but it is an understatement to say he LOVES his toys. We are not sure how he gets along with cats as he has not been in a situation to observe him.  Maximus is a big sweet boy hoping to finally find his loving and capable home with a family who is experienced with Rottweilers and love the breed and understand that they are NOT a bully breed but more of a big baby who would be a devoted and loving pet.  If you are interested in adopting Maximus, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you.  www.roxysk9rescue.org   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Hello, I'm Rumble! I'm a big lovable Rottie with a heart of gold for people!! According to my foster mom, I've got the heart of a big, playful puppy, and sometimes I forget that I'm a larger dog when I'm having a blast. So, if you have smaller dogs at home, we might just need a little adjustment period to get along famously. But here's the thing—when it comes to cats, I'm not the most purr-fect playmate, so if you've got a furry feline in the house, I might not be the ideal match. Now, if you believe you can provide me with a loving and caring home, please don't hesitate to apply today. And yes, I may be soaking up the Texas sunshine right now, but the good news is that I'm ready to hit the road and make my way to your heart and home. All it takes is a $230 transport fee, and I'll be on my way to becoming your loyal companion.Let's make it happen! Apply today, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together. Thank you for considering me for adoption! Online Application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $300).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.I do not specialize in Rottweilers but I love them and rescue lots of them and this little girl has my heart.  Meet MEADOW, 60 pounds and 10 months old and as sweet as sugar.  She started off thin and I suspect she will get close to 80 pounds in the next 6 months.  She has a docked tail and loves belly rubs.  She will instantly fall on her back for a belly rub. MEADOW is a soft hearted and soft behaving beautiful girl that gets along with everyone.  Her play buddies are big and small.  She loves to just be a puppy, running zoomies, playing with toys, cuddling and especially getting snacks. She takes a bath good and walks well on a leash.  She would love a home with a pet playmate.  MEADOW is easy to train and completely crate and house trained but not ready to be left alone as she is a puppy.  I do not have any cats and not sure how she would do around them.  I have plenty of pictures of her but will try to get a video of her. Ray's temperament is so great that it makes him a wonderful family pet, of course he does not realize how big and strong he is but he absolutely loves to play with kids.  He even knows a few commands if he will pay attention and not continue to try to engage you in playing with him.  Please be aware that Ray is an indoor dog and has the manners to be inside.  He is a goofy and calm boy who is looking for a loving home. Story
Ace is such a good boy! He’s so goofy and loves to just jump in joy when we’re outside on the leash. When he’s off leash he flys like the wind exploring and checking in every now and then when he’s off leash. His call back is okay but if the stimulation is greater than the reward I have I know he would take off. So his recall needs attention. I chose him when he was born because he was the only one that would just explore and did not require my attention. He was a calm self soothing puppy. His typical Doberman traits exist so much but his ability to self regulate is wonderful. He loves to sleep. And he loves to go to the beach. He loves to play with his kitty cat brother and when he gets to play with his big dog cousins. He is very much a typical Doberman in many ways. He does not like his toe nails clipped and self cares that department. He still has one baby tooth and he is intact. Up to date on shots with vet assisted nail trimmings. I’m hoping he can find himself larger life soon.

Story
Deepali needed a miracle, a mama dog on a border town in south Texas - she was skinny with skin infections, heartworms and a bouncy twitch to her walk. Once in Houston, she learned her foster home routine quickly and enjoys snuggling into a donut dog bed in her crate along with a big bucket for nibbling on kibble when she wants. Deepali resource guards food and has a fierce growl over food but is only 42 lbs and panics if dogs challenger her. { She's all bark, no Fight } Based on history of the region, X-Rays and observed coordination - Our team and Vet partners suspect; she is a survivor of distemper. A virus that leaves dogs with permanent nervous system damage if they survive. We did X-Rays to rule out wobblers and traumatic injury. Deepali has full use of her head, neck, front limbs - her back feet 'dance' even when she is standing still. She is unbothered by her twitches and RUNS when she needs to be first in line for a treat or to go see her dog friends. Deepali loves human attention and petting. She could easily be an only dog in a small space - going on leashed walks for exercise. Guessed to be between 4-6 years old. Mature but not showing signs of aging. Current weight 42 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and on prevention (treated and now negative for heartworms). Housetrained, crate trained and part of a suburban foster home with other dogs. Deepali does NOT have any special needs* Intake Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/iajmW_gNjrs?si=5-dp93lDnMEzye3h FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee ($400.00) includes transport options to PNW (WA, UT, ID), Midwest (MN, WI, MI, OH, IL, IN) or select New England States (NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT) by pet transport partners.
