Story
My name is Murphy. I was listed before, but our landlord let me stay at an additional charge. Now the apartment complex changed owners & I must leave. My owner is heart broken. I am 3 yrs old & came from the spca when I was 14 months old. I'm a playful puppy & need alot of attention. Mom says I'm to big to sit on her lap, but dad let's me. I play with my human children, we play hide & seek. I always win. I love to run & go for daily walks. Please consider me for adoption.

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Patty is a 6 month old, 60 pound Rottweiler with a very happy personality.  She is super quiet, no unnecessary barking at the wind.  She is learning to walk on a leash but she is shy.  She needs some work but she likes hanging with her humans and very curious about things so getting her to a point that you would like should not be hard. She has been spending her time playing with her sister Paisley and friend Kirby also available for adoption.  She loves to play with toys and the other dogs in the foster home, big and small.   Patty came to my home as a 2 day old newborn with her pure breed mother Fia.  Fia has been adopted already and now Patty needs to find her forever home.  We do not know who daddy is but Patty looks like a pure breed Rottweiler, she has a tail. We do transport across the United States.  Thank you for looking.   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         September 20, 2023, 8:15 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Young Kirby is a 5 month old, 27 pound beautiful Rottweiler mix.  I am not sure what he is mixed with as he looks mostly Rottweiler and he has the Rottweiler personality and traits.  He has a little strip of white on his chest and a beautiful wavy coat.  He does have his natural tail. Kirby is very playful and loving.  He wants to hang around you like all Rottweilers do and just get some loving.  He likes to hug on you.  He hugs my legs all the time.  He walks well on a leash and rides well in the car without getting sick.  He will need to be clicked into a seatbelt because he wants to be in the front seat with you. This is a really good dog in all areas.  He gets along great with other dogs big and small.  We do not have a shelter, he is in a foster home where we have eyes on him and can get a good perspective of his temperament and personality.  I really enjoy having him as a houseguest. Kirby comes already neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, rabies and microchipped.  His medical records will come with him at the time of adoption. I will try to get a video of him later today.  Thank you. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.You guessed it, we named her Sweetie because she is so deserving of that name, too sweet and loving. This 5 year old young girl just wants to be loved and hang around you, she craves human attention and I am giving her all I can. But she has to share with the other foster dogs here. Sweetie is good about sharing and happy to live with her foster siblings big and small. She gets along with everything and everyone. I do not have cats so I do not know about them. Sweetie weighs 56 pounds right now but she was thinner when I got her. She needs to put on a few more pounds but she is a petite size Rottweiler. Sweetie came to my attention by some out of town visitors, she kept going into the hotel they were staying and laying on the cool floor. We are in San Antonio, Texas and we are having a very hot summer. The visitors fed her for a few days and reached out to me for help. Before I could get over there to get her, ACS, our very high kill shelter picked her up . Turns out Sweetie had a microchip so ACS contacted her owners to pick her up, they never came and Sweetie ended up on death row simply because he owners abandoned her. I immediately pulled her from the facility and brought her into my home. She was confused at first and didn't know how to act but it was clear that she really appreciated the love and attention, she gobbled it up. Sweetie has adjusted and really ready for her own home. Sweetie is spayed, vaccinated, rabes, dewormed and microchipped under my rescue and healthy. She has a lot more life to live, can you be her hero? Her medical records will come with her. Thank you. Story
Look at this face! This gorgeous girl is named Diamond and she’s a 2yr old boxer. Diamond has a sweet, goofy personality. She is very energetic and needs an active home so she will get the exercise that she craves. Diamond needs to be leash walked. She’s quite an escape artist and easily can climb a fence. She also does need some work on basic commands. Diamond gets along with other dogs, we are unsure about cats. Older children would be best because of her size and exuberance. No renters please. If you are interested in this sweetheart, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6-8pm & Saturday 12-3pm. https://www.lakeshorehumanesociety.org/online-adoption-form
