Zeppy doesn’t understand how he hasn’t been adopted yet.  Please share his post to help him find his forever home. Zeppelin aka Zep aka Zeppy aka Baby BoyBorn October 31, 2025Boxer / pitbull mix of sorts (who knows) Not yet neutered male  Born to a paralyzed mom, living under a trailer, yellow from urine staining, and red clay. Born with the odds against him - born just to die on the streets, unloved, unwanted, unvaccinated, unseen, and unheard. That was his future - until his entire trajectory changed because he ended up at the shelter.  Zeppelin is THRIVING in foster. He is pee pad trained, working on house training, working on crate training, he loves to snuggle, he loves to be with his foster parents, he loves to play with bones and toys, and is learning all about normal life. It’s been over a year since my foster parents found me—lost, lonely, and hungry on the streets of Buffalo. Since then, I’ve come a long way, and they’ve learned so much about who I truly am: a snuggly, kissy, happy girl with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life! &#226&#156&#168 Here’s what they’ve discovered about me: I’m full of energy and joy but also the best napping buddy. I love to curl up and relax with my people. I didn’t even know what kibble was at first, but now I enjoy my meals and snacks—especially veggies, pumpkin, apples, and tasty treats! I’m potty trained! It took a little time, but I’ve nailed it now. I love walks, playing with my flirt pole, doing puzzles for treats, and working on training. I’ve even completed a 7-week training course to help me feel more confident around other dogs! I know lots of commands like sit, come inside, leave it, crate, come up, lay down, and find my bone. I might need an occasional reminder, but I’m eager to please. I’m a sweetheart when my humans are feeling down—nothing a cuddle and a gentle kiss can’t fix. I patiently sit for veggie snacks while my foster mom cooks and never sneak food from the counter! I get along well with my foster sister, but I’d really thrive as the only pet in the home where I can be your one and only. ♥&#239&#184&#143 If I could ask for just one thing from my future forever family, it would be patience. Meet Rocky! Rocky is the sweetest senior bulldog mix that you’ll ever meet. Rocky was an unclaimed stray from animal control before he came to us. He is believed to be approximately 10yrs old. He loves attention and cuddling . Rocky has been good with the dogs he has met here at LHS and enjoys romping in the yard with them. Sadly , Rocky has not had an easy life. He was poorly bred and has a very wide stance. Rocky has arthritis in his joints which affects the way he walks. He doesn’t let that get him down, he still trots around enjoying life . Rocky is currently taking joint supplements and pain medication that he will need to continue. We are looking for an owner who will make sure he lives his life as comfortable as possible. His new home should have few or no steps that he would have to navigate. Rocky needs to be loved and spoiled.
