Lady is affectionate, loyal, and well-mannered. She is looking for a loving home where she can relax, feel secure, and be the wonderful companion she is meant to be. Charlie struggles with meeting new people — the world hasn’t always been kind to her — but if someone could just give her a few chances, visit her a couple of times, sit quietly nearby and let her heart unfold on its own… they’d find the most loyal, gentle, loving dog waiting underneath the fear. 💔Once she trusts you, she’s pure sunshine — a snuggly, kiss-giving, tail-wagging angel who will follow you anywhere. She walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and loves to stretch her legs running around the yard before curling up in a soft bed or a pile of blankets. She doesn’t care much for toys — she just wants love, safety, and someone to finally stay. 🐾Charlie has done well with some dogs here, but she takes her time getting comfortable — both with people and other pets. 2 1/2 year old Tank has been with us since August. His journey has been a bumpy one—he was rehomed when his previous owner had to move, and was later found as a stray. He took part in a brief trial adoption, but was returned due to having separation anxiety and his barking causing tension with a neighbor. Through it all, he’s stayed a sweet, loyal boy. Tank is said to be good with dogs and kids, but he’d prefer a home without cats.Once he settles in and those first-day jitters fade, Tank is an absolute joy to be around.
