Story
Harley and her mother were abandoned with a friend of my aunt who couldn't take care of them long term. We took Harley not understanding how active she would be. We have two other dogs that she gets along with well. However, she needs a more active household. She is very loving and cuddly. She likes to jump, climb and chew. She does not like to share her toys.

Story
Meet Atlas! This handsome Rottweiler/Doberman mix is a younger guy with energy to spare and a tail nub that never seems to stop wagging. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was quite nervous around new people, and he can still be quite shy when meeting someone new. Because of this we highly recommend slow introductions and recommend a home without small children. However, give him a bit of time along with patience and you'll discover a loyal companion that wants to do everything with his person. Once he's comfortable his playful side begins to shine. He loves to play in our play yard especially if there's a rope toy or long plush toy involved for a game of tug-of-war! He's also incredibly food motivated - cheese being the quickest way to his heart! He knows sit, though sitting still can be a challenge when his little nub is wagging a mile a minute. After playtime, he's all about the snuggles, which is when he finally settles down and shows his softer side. To add to it, he makes adorable facial expressions such as his frequent tongue bleps. This sweet boy is still working on his overall basic obedience and potty training, but with patience, treats and an experienced dog owner willing to go at his pace, he'll surely grow into a devoted best friend. Story
Roxxie is a 6 year old Rottie. She has been with us since she was a puppy, and was raised with other dogs. Her preference is to be an only dog though, as most dogs she is not a fan of. The only exception was her older brother who passed away last year. She's never been around cats, but is an avid critter hunter and catcher, so I don't imagine she'd get along with cats very well. She does have a bit of food aggression, and does the Rottie Rumble when playing with her toys. She would do well in a home with older kids, but the reason we are having to rehome her is that we have not been able to have her around our toddler. She will growl and/or raise her hair to him, and we don't trust having her around him. She still loves and plays with our older children. She loves pets and all the anttention, and sitting at your feet. It breaks my heart to have to say goodbye, but I know it’s best for her and for us to be able to live her best life in a new home.
