Story
Hancho is the total package — a big, handsome boy with a loving heart, a playful spirit, and the kind of loyalty that makes Rottie mixes so special. At 80 pounds, he may look imposing at first glance, but underneath that sturdy frame is a sweet snuggle bug who simply wants to be close to his people.Hancho was originally adopted by his foster mom in 2022 after she completely fell in love with him and decided she couldn’t let him go. Sadly, due to declining health, she is no longer able to care for him, and now this wonderful boy is once again searching for a forever family to love.Hancho has a nice medium energy level. He enjoys running around, playing, and having fun, especially with other dogs of any size, so a playful canine companion would be a dream come true for him. Once he’s gotten his zoomies out, though, he’s all about relaxing beside you for ear scratches, belly rubs, and cuddle time. He has been around children over 5 years old and does very well with them.He can be a little vocal when meeting strangers at first, but it’s all bark. Give him a smile, a kind voice, and a minute to warm up, and you’ll quickly see his affectionate and friendly personality shine through.Hancho is also cat-friendly, house trained, and crate trained. He does best being crated when left home alone since he occasionally forgets which items are actually dog toys. He rides nicely in the car, usually sitting quietly and taking in the scenery, and while he walks well on leash, he can pull a bit at times due to his size and enthusiasm. This smart, loving boy has already experienced being deeply cherished once before, and now he deserves another family who will love him just as much. Hancho is ready to bring joy, laughter, companionship, and cuddles to the lucky people who welcome him home.Name: HanchoBreed: Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever   (Breed mix is not guaranteed-no DNA testing done).Sex: MaleAge: 3-4 years  (estimated)Weight: 79.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 7Good with Dogs: Yes but would do best living as an only dogGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)                       $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee for Massachusetts residents.Location of dog currently:    TennesseeIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet Apollo! This handsome 5-year-old is ready to find the family for him. Despite being a big-boy, this Rottweiler has a gentle soul with an abundance of love to go around. Sometimes first introductions can be scary - and Apollo agrees - but he doesn't take long to warm up after he meets his new friends. Apollo enjoys a leisurely walk, but his favorite activity is definitely mealtime! Apollo has lived with another dog previously and met dogs of different sizes and done well. Apollo would do best without any feline friends in the home but would do well with children. Apply to adopt Apollo today, or email dogs@rispca.org with any questions! 🐾

Story
Buddy is such a wonderful boy. He has the heart of a puppy and loves to play. He’ll make an excellent family pet as he gets along fantastic with kids and other dogs.   His owner passed away and currently he is in foster care. All of his vetting was done in October 2025. He is heartworm negative, neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines.   He’s a big boy at 77 pounds. We do not know how he is with cats since he’s never been exposed to any.    His adoption fee is $350 and that includes the cost for transport.  ##2688185##

Story
SEEKING A RESPONSIBLE AND EXPERIENCED ROTTWEILER OWNER FOR THIS CHARMING YOUNG MAN Meet Carlo, an exceptionally handsome nearly two-year-old Rottweiler. Carlo is a smart and eager learner, highly motivated by food and responsive to positive reinforcement training. He is looking for someone who will continue to develop his training and refine what he has already learned. While he occasionally needs reminders not to pull on the leash, he generally walks nicely. Currently, he resides with a female Rottweiler of similar size and gets along well with her. He has interacted with other female dogs of his size, but not all appreciated his playful nature. Interestingly, he is remarkably tolerant of smaller female dogs. Carlo enjoys playing fetch, excels at catching balls or treats, and is making great progress with sitting patiently for his food until given the command to eat. Due to his robust size and enthusiastic greetings, Carlo's best suited for homes with teens or older. He's working on his manners! Ideal adopters will have a fenced backyard (no electric fences, please) and a male dog-free zone—Carlo's not keen on sharing the spotlight with another dude. Apply at www.almosthomeri.org
