Meet Cooper, a Rottweiler mix who is the epitome of a true gentleman!  Calm and well-mannered, Cooper is still under a year old but has the maturity level of a much older dog. He politely says hello to new people with no jumping, and he greets new dogs with a calmness that immediately puts them at ease. It doesn’t get any easier than Cooper. He’s crate trained, potty trained and walks perfectly on a leash. It’s as if he’s had years of leash training, but in reality, he’s just a natural. He walks right beside you, never pulling or reacting to anything around him.  Cooper was approximately 8 months old as of June 1. A breed test done on Cooper’s sister showed that the litter is half Rottweiler and the other half is a combination of Siberian Husky, American Pit Bull Terrier and Golden Retriever. Cooper will likely be a sizable dog when full grown, possibly around 80 lbs, give or take. Cooper is incredibly good with other dogs and currently attends day care where he is always making new friends. He also adores kids, and immediately lays down for belly rubs in their presence. It doesn’t take much to wear Cooper out. In his future forever home, he would love to cuddle on the couch with you after a leisurely morning stroll. SEEKING A RESPONSIBLE AND EXPERIENCED ROTTWEILER OWNER FOR THIS CHARMING YOUNG MAN Meet Carlo, an exceptionally handsome nearly two-year-old Rottweiler. Carlo is a smart and eager learner, highly motivated by food and responsive to positive reinforcement training. He is looking for someone who will continue to develop his training and refine what he has already learned. While he occasionally needs reminders not to pull on the leash, he generally walks nicely. Currently, he resides with a female Rottweiler of similar size and gets along well with her. He has interacted with other female dogs of his size, but not all appreciated his playful nature. Interestingly, he is remarkably tolerant of smaller female dogs. Carlo enjoys playing fetch, excels at catching balls or treats, and is making great progress with sitting patiently for his food until given the command to eat. We acquired our Rottweiler from a breeder in South Carolina. He is 2 years old and has been a wonderful part of our family. Unfortunately, with a baby on the way, balancing work, preparing for our child, and giving him the time and attention he deserves has become difficult. We are looking for a loving, responsible home where he will be well cared for and treated as part of the family. He has an excellent temperament and is very friendly. He loves kids, enjoys being around people, gets along well with other animals, and is not a frequent barker. He is calm, well-mannered, and not overly energetic. Some of his favorite things are car rides, treats, and spending time with his people. We love him very much and want to ensure he goes to a home that will give him the love, attention, and care he deserves.
