Story
Lil Girl is a sweetheart! She greeted me inside with a crooked grin to go with her crooked ears & wagging tail from the very start. However, she was very afraid in the noisy kennels & refused to come out. Did some bucket sitting inside her kennel & finally got her outside! She was so happy. She is still shy so you will have to be patient to win her trust, but it is soooo worth it.

Story
Jade is a young adult Rottweiller that belonged to and was raised by backyard breeder till ended up with loving man that took care of her. She is now in a foster home with two other large breed dogs, but is was initially a challenge. Jade is crate trained and stays in it when foster Dad is gone for long hours. She is loving...thinks she is a lap top, but she is also strong-willed. Jade is starved for attention and can overly excited at times. But she does know some basic commands: sit, down. Wait and stay are harder, but she is learning. She needs a family that can walk her and play with her alot! She is a cuddle-bug...starved for attention as she was probably tied up in someone's backyard! She forgets that she is now 72-75 lbs of goofiness! Jade loves to snuggle up with people. She is good with kids, but since a big goofball...kids over 12 ONLY. Jade is a dominant dog so should only be with another dog that is submissive and one that likes to play. A meet and greet will be required. She requires a fenced in yard..preferably a privacy fence. Jade is not a dog a dog that can wander an unfenced property. To inquire about an animal or submit an application visit https://www.hands2paws.org/adopt.html

Story
Meet Kaylee! This sweet girl was brought to us with her 5 puppies, Brock, Bravo, Brax, Brigg, and Britt. Fill out an application to give this Rottweiler mix a furever home! To meet one of our adoptable pets or to start the adoption process, please access the adoption application on our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org or download and email it to crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com. We will then approve you (sending in the application does not obligate you to adopt) and we can set up a time for you to meet one or more of our pets. You can then pay the adoption fee and officially adopt after meeting your new family member. Alternatively, you can do the adoption over the phone before meeting your new pet. The benefit to this is that we will hold the pet for you. However, the adoption fee is non-refundable if you changed your mind after adopting over the phone. Most of our pets are obtained from animal control and therefore we are not certain of their breed or breed mix. We list breed mixes that they most resemble or that their former owners said they were. However, we don't make any guarantees about breed - it is a best guess! Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vet exam, and up to date vaccines. It also includes microchipping as well as heartworm testing or feline leukemia testing. We are happy to adopt out-of-state (and even out of the country!) but transportation for the adopted pet is the responsibility of the new pet owner. If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, please click on the "Sponsor a Pet" button. Your donation will help feed the dogs, cats, small animals, and horses at CARE. Please email at crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com or call us at (864)972-9906 for more information. This phone number will reach Crossroads Animal Hospital, which is the home of CARE. During business hours, a receptionist will be able to speak with you regarding our adoptable pets. After business hours, the only way to contact CARE is via email. Our puppies and kittens are also eligible for 10% off the rest of the vaccines in their puppy/kitten vaccination series at Crossroads Animal Hospital. Most adult pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Puppies and kittens may have the surgery before adoption or we may have new owners return later for the surgery. For more information about CARE and to see our adoption application, go to our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org
