Ryder is a 2 year old pure bred rotty. His personality, he is very friendly and just willing to be loved and pet on for hours. He loves to play and he is very energetic. He will wear himself into the ground running and playing, he loves to fetch the toys. Ryder enjoys naps and hanging out on the porch outside, he will bark at all the cars or mailmen that pass by but he loves to play run around the yard and squeak any noisy toy. When taken out at night, he will try to be a frog or rabbit hunter after all the wildlife he sees. Story
Hi, I’m Keaton! I was adopted as a puppy, but sadly, several years later, I found myself back at Pawmetto Lifeline. My previous family didn’t quite understand what I needed as I grew bigger—they kept me outside all the time, and I didn’t get to meet many people or other dogs. Because of that, I can be nervous around strangers and reactive when behind barriers. But once I’m out in the open and get to know you, I’m the sweetest, goofiest, most loving dog you’ll ever meet. The staff here has been so kind, and they believe in me—and I’m starting to believe in myself, too. I’m looking for a calm, quiet home with someone who’s patient and experienced. I didn’t get training in my first home, but I’m eager to learn and bond with someone who’ll show me what love really means. If you can give me the time and space I need to open up, I promise I’ll reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and a one-of-a-kind personality. All I want is a forever family who’ll make me part of their lives—for good this time.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Meet Canik!Canik is a big, lovable teddy bear who’s happiest when he’s cuddling up with his people and getting all the attention he can. He’s friendly and gentle with everyone he meets — kids, adults, and even strangers — and always ready to greet new friends with a wagging tail. This handsome boy is both house trained and crate trained, and he walks beautifully on a leash. He’s even been a perfect gentleman on outings to Lowe’s! Canik currently lives with three kids, a cat, and two other dogs. He does enjoy playfully teasing the cat and trying to get him to join in on the fun (the cat, however, does not share his enthusiasm), but he’s never shown aggression. He just needs supervision to resist the temptation of sneaking snacks from the litter box!Canik loves his toys — especially ones with stuffing, which he takes great joy in removing. Every now and then he’ll need a reminder about which toys belong to him and which belong to the kids, since throw pillows and stuffed animals can look pretty tempting. He’s playful outside and gets along well with the family’s small dog, though the two sometimes have little disagreements indoors (mostly thanks to the small dog). Canik knows sit, stay, and shake, and he’s always eager to please — especially if there are treats involved. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly companion who adores his people, loves food, and brings joy wherever he goes, Canik is ready to melt your heart and fill your home with love.My adoption fee of $450 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.

Story
Hi, my name is Spot!I’m a one-of-a-kind pup here at Pawmetto Lifeline—and I’m looking for a very special person to share my heart with. You see, I’m deaf, which means I experience the world a little differently. Because of that, I need an experienced, patient adopter who understands the importance of structure, boundaries, and clear, consistent communication.I’m super food-motivated (seriously—treats are the way to my heart!), and I’ve got a goofy, loving side that shines when I’m comfortable. But I’ll be honest—I don’t warm up to strangers right away. I need a little time to get to know you and feel safe. Think of it like dating—we need a few visits before I’m ready to commit!I’d do best in a calm, adult-only home with no children and minimal chaos. Once I trust you, I’m incredibly loyal and affectionate. I’m just looking for someone who sees my potential and is willing to go slow with me.If you’re kind, experienced, and up for building a strong bond based on trust and love, I might just be the perfect pup for you. Could you be my person? If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
