Hello! My name is Raya, and I’m a fun, cuddle-loving puppy who is always ready to play. ??Cuddles and toys are my two greatest passions, and I’m happiest when I’m close to my people.I’m staying in a foster home right now and love meeting new dog friends on our walks. Not to brag, but I’m already excellent on leash—sometimes I even try to walk myself by grabbing the leash! Most of the time, though, I walk beautifully and enjoy saying hello to everyone we meet. I also live with cats. I think they’re very interesting and sometimes try to play a little too enthusiastically, so I’ll need guidance as I keep learning good manners around them.I’m crate trained and do really well going in on my own. I even choose to nap in my crate when the door is open. When first crated, I might bark for a few minutes until things quiet down, but then I settle in nicely. I’m about 75% housetrained and doing great with a consistent routine—I can even hold it overnight when left loose in the house.I love kids and all the attention they give me (and yes, their toys too!). I’m still a puppy, so I can be a little mouthy when I’m excited and I’m learning which things are not chew toys. I also really love food, which makes me super smart and motivated when it comes to training—but it does mean I might counter surf if given the chance.Speaking of training, I love learning because learning comes with treats! I already know sit and stay, and I’m excited to learn whatever you want to teach me next. Long walks, playtime, toys (especially chew toys and stuffies), and a playful fur sibling would make my dreams come true.I can be a bit nervous around loud fireworks, but with comfort and reassurance, I recover quickly and do just fine.If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate, playful puppy who’s eager to learn, loves kids, and is ready to grow into the best companion ever, I might just be your girl.My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays

Story
Hi, I’m Keaton! I was adopted as a puppy, but sadly, several years later, I found myself back at Pawmetto Lifeline. My previous family didn’t quite understand what I needed as I grew bigger—they kept me outside all the time, and I didn’t get to meet many people or other dogs. Because of that, I can be nervous around strangers and reactive when behind barriers. But once I’m out in the open and get to know you, I’m the sweetest, goofiest, most loving dog you’ll ever meet. The staff here has been so kind, and they believe in me—and I’m starting to believe in myself, too. I’m looking for a calm, quiet home with someone who’s patient and experienced. I didn’t get training in my first home, but I’m eager to learn and bond with someone who’ll show me what love really means. If you can give me the time and space I need to open up, I promise I’ll reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and a one-of-a-kind personality. All I want is a forever family who’ll make me part of their lives—for good this time.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Hi, my name is Spot!I’m a one-of-a-kind pup here at Pawmetto Lifeline—and I’m looking for a very special person to share my heart with. You see, I’m deaf, which means I experience the world a little differently. Because of that, I need an experienced, patient adopter who understands the importance of structure, boundaries, and clear, consistent communication.I’m super food-motivated (seriously—treats are the way to my heart!), and I’ve got a goofy, loving side that shines when I’m comfortable. But I’ll be honest—I don’t warm up to strangers right away. I need a little time to get to know you and feel safe. Think of it like dating—we need a few visits before I’m ready to commit!I’d do best in a calm, adult-only home with no children and minimal chaos. Once I trust you, I’m incredibly loyal and affectionate. I’m just looking for someone who sees my potential and is willing to go slow with me.If you’re kind, experienced, and up for building a strong bond based on trust and love, I might just be the perfect pup for you. Could you be my person? If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
