Story
Ransom and Alpha came into my life as 11-week-old puppies on September 17, 2022, and are now 3 years old. They’ve been my closest companions and are deeply bonded, always playing, cuddling, and keeping each other company. I would love for them to stay together if at all possible, since each other is all they’ve ever known. Both are affectionate, loyal, and playful; totally focused on making you smile once they’ve decided you’re their person. They’re past the puppy stage but still full of life, ready for walks, playtime, or curling up for snuggles. I’m looking for a loving home where they’ll be cherished as family, and it would mean so much if their new family could share occasional updates and pictures. Knowing they’re safe, happy, and loved will bring me peace of mind as they begin their next chapter.

Story
Cinnamon is an older female Rottweiler! She is VERY sweet with people but is not very socialized with other dogs. My neighbor passed away and we took her in so she wouldn’t be euthanized. However we have 4 dogs and, despite our efforts, none of the dogs are happy with the situation. She has never shown any aggression towards us even when food is present. She is very cuddly and would thrive in a home without other pets. We just want to ensure she goes to a loving home 🩷

Story
Tulsa is about a 1-2 year old possible Rottweiler mixed breed dog looking for his new best friend(s). He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm/flea/tick preventative. Abandoned at a regular dumping area, his finder said this guy was living on Tulsa time. Tulsa seems to think every person he meets is his friend, and greets everyone with all the exuberance of a friendly toddler at the park. Unless your hockey team is looking for an enforcer, he will need to continue the training he's begun in foster care. Plus, I'm willing to bet he's not really good on ice skates. Now, while he may not be able to execute a Mohawk Turn, his good looks and engaging smile always turn heads, so be prepared for all the people wanting to pet that dawg. Tulsa's ideal home would be one without other animals because he's a little vain and wants to be the star of the show. He's looking forward to a home with adoring fans. He'd basically like to become one with you. He loves playing with oversized balls and sitting on your feet, following you from room to room, or even through a forest. He's learning manners and needs a home with someone who has time to spend with him, whether that's hiking or channel surfing. He's definitely down to crack a cold one and watch the Stanley Cup with you. This is one cool dog. Apply to be his number one fan today.

Story
Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST! Just like a Twix bar, I am super sweet, a little salty, and really ooey gooey! I was found when I was only 10 months old and brought to God’s Dogs Rescue. I was adopted shortly after but returned due to being a snarky teenager and showing tenacity and energy common with my breeds. Training would have been key! Anyway, since coming back, I have spent almost **4.5 years** living on GDR's ranch property in Texas. I’ve been overlooked all this time and it’s time for that to change! I have now been in a foster home for a few months. It took some time to adjust to being indoors again but I have learned the wonders of ✨air conditioning✨. It also took time to adjust to “less dogs” but I‘m loving my newfound personal space. There are other dogs in my foster home but, at my age, I prefer dogs that match my low energy. I may even be fine as the only dog. Kids, same thing, I prefer ones that are old enough to respect my space and low energy. Certainly no cats or other small animals for me! I still have a tinge of that independent/stubborn streak from my youth but, at the end of the day, I am a BIG LOVER! I get so excited, wiggly, and bouncy with my foster mom. She gives the best scratches and I give the best hair tumbleweeds. I shed A LOT! While living at the rescue, they took great care of me...too good, honestly. I have become fat and happy but the weight has worn down on these ol’ joints. I am on a diet, limited treats, and I am getting joint supplements every day. I am a generally lazy guy but I am amazing on a leash and love to go on walks. More consistent exercise will help with my weight loss. I still have plenty of pep in my step (especially when I‘m on the hunt for squirrels) so don’t let my age or size fool you. I am so ready for my new AND FINAL home! I will melt your heart when you look into my caramel eyes and sweet, chocolatey soul. Don't hesitate, ADOPT ME!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! I am GhostBuster and I have a neat, sad and then happy story to tell you... So hang on for the ride!! But realize my NEXT BEST CHAPTER can include you!! In the sweltering heat I was blessed enough to CHOOSE the Post Office to hang out in. I was there for months, and no one could get me...and they tried but they deliver MAIL, not SAVE DOGS for a living..:) The Post Master knew about a local rescue, and they tried to help me too...then I was hit by a car and injured... AND I found a girlfriend and she was my lucky break, literally. The Police Department was finally able to save us and away we went to the rescue! My sweet girlfriend, Avian, was adopted before me, but I believe this is MY TIME!! Here is what my rescue friends describe me.."GhostBuster is always happy to see you, his eyes shine, tail wags, and his energy boosts whenever he sees his favorite people! He has the subtle markings of a Rottweiler or a Doberman and the temperament of a lab. He had an injured hip when saved but he has had surgery and has had his heartworms treated. During all this time he has started to know what a kind hand is like, some love, and real food! Now he can learn what a real family is :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area )
