Story
Zelda was a surrender to our family because her previous owners wouldn’t pay for a bladder stone procedure and were going to euthanize her. She has been such a fun dog to have in our home and is so incredibly loving and goofy. We had planned on keeping her however she and our senior female dog do not get along. Zelda has gotten along very well with our male bulldog and with our cat. She is great with children and would LOVE the playmates.

Story
💛 Meet Giza (aka Maple) 💛 Life threw this sweet girl an unexpected plot twist, and now Giza is looking for a fresh chapter with a forever family. Originally adopted from us this past December, Giza’s family loves her dearly, but a move has made it impossible for them to take her along. They want nothing more than to see her land somewhere safe, loving, and permanent. At just 6 months old, Giza is still very much a puppy with a heart full of sunshine and curiosity. She’s playful, affectionate, and eager to be part of whatever her people are doing. Whether she’s zooming around during playtime or soaking up attention with tail wags and happy wiggles, Giza brings warmth and joy wherever she goes… just like her nickname, Maple. Giza is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $150. New Leash dogs are required to be primarily indoor pets, with supervised outdoor playtime only. If you’re ready to give this sweet girl the stable, loving home she deserves, Giza is ready to stick by your side through every adventure and cozy night in. 🐾

Story
COURTESY LISTINGThis dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for Bowser. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Bowser is a big-hearted, big-energy boy who’s ready to find a home that can keep up with his zest for life. At just 2 years old, this handsome Boxer/Pit Bull mix weighs around 70 pounds and brings a whole lot of love, intelligence, and personality wherever he goes. Bowser is brilliant, energetic, and affectionate. He absolutely adores kids, but because of his strength and enthusiasm, supervision is recommended around younger children. He gets along well with some dogs, but he would truly shine as an only dog, where he can soak up all the attention. Bowser is convinced he’s a lap dog and will happily try to cuddle his way into your heart (and your personal space). He’s also quite vocal and loves to “talk back,” which is endlessly entertaining and makes his personality really stand out. This smart guy already knows several commands, including sit, come, off, heel, no, and lay down. He is fully house-trained with no accidents and is very comfortable in a crate—he even sleeps in one regularly. If you love to run, Bowser might just be your perfect match. Running is his favorite thing in the world! He also loves chasing a ball and playing tug-of-war and will happily keep going long after you’re tired. He needs plenty of space to stretch his legs and burn off energy. Bowser would do best in an active, structured environment. He’d especially love having an active older child or teen (around 13 years old) to run and play with. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and endlessly entertaining companion who will keep you moving and laughing, Bowser might just be your perfect match!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. December 31, 2025, 12:58 pm

Story
Ozzie is a great dog. He is a big cuddler and always wants to be with his person. He does great with the crate and is house trained. He does not bark often. Ozzie has no known health issues and has been easy to care for. I am looking to re-home him due to health issues that have left me immobile and unable to care for him at all. I hope to find somewhere with a fenced in yard so he can play & explore, and someone to just love him & give him a good life like he deserves. He has not been socialized much with other dogs, so I don’t know how he would do with another animal in the home.

Story
Bullet is a wonderful, trainable puppy who needs a home that can give her the attention she needs in order to truly thrive. Her house training is behind due to our inability to be home with her and let her outside more often. She can hold it for several hours but she needs more exercise and outdoor time in a big back yard. She requires constant supervision when she is not crated. She will eat her own feces and anything else she can fit in her mouth. She’s a 35lbs bully/boxer mix, she’s 6 months old and still needs to be fixed. I should hopefully have this done in the next couple of weeks. She very socialized with other dogs, she’s goes to daycare twice a week for a 12 hour play session. She is not good with cats, more or less scared of them because she’s not been introduced to them. She is great with small dogs and will likely keep to herself around bigger dogs. Please contact me if you are interested in Bullet! She’s the sweetest dog, she loves people and deserves a loving home.
