Story
Benny is a friendly, intelligent, active, people-loving Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever mix who is a little under 2 years old and about 70lbs. He was found on the streets of Houston as a young puppy and has been living with his caring foster parent ever since. We were contacted by his foster dad who was needing help getting him with a rescue so he could finally be adopted, and how could we say no to that face? Benny loves going on adventures and is a total outdoorsy man! He walks well on a leash and is easy to bring around with you wherever you want to go. He enjoys going on long walks with his people, playing fetch in the backyard, and exploring all types of new places. This is a dog you can take anywhere! He is so well-mannered and loves everyone he meets, especially kids, and every day is a new fun filled adventure for him! Benny is a very smart boy and catches on quickly to learning new commands and tricks. He is also very aware of what his people want from him and mirrors the energy of whoever is around him at the time. Benny is good with other dogs but prefers to not be dominated over by other dogs. He enforces his boundaries well and is very fair with his corrections, but he won't stand up for himself if the other dog were to escalate it into a fight. He would be fine being the only dog in the household, but an even-tempered laid back pup would make a great canine companion for him. Benny has not been in close proximity to cats, but he does like to chase the ones on the street as well as the squirrels that run by. We think Benny would be fine with a kitty in the house, but he may need some lessons in not chasing them if they run from him! Benny is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Story
Meet Shepherd 🐾 Shepherd is already showing off his big personality! This sweet boy is super outgoing and has just started to figure out the magic of fetch—he’s very proud of himself and it’s adorable to watch. He loves to play, but he’s just as happy curling up for a cozy nap right after. Total cuddle bug status confirmed 💕 Shepherd is hitting all the puppy milestones like a champ—he recently conquered stairs and is already learning commands like “sit”! His crate training is going great, and he’s getting more comfortable with it every day. Even better? He’s sleeping through the night like a pro, snoozing from around 9:30/10 PM until 7 AM. He’s also doing an amazing job with potty training, with very minimal accidents so far. While he can be a little shy around new, energetic dogs at first, give him a little time and patience and he warms up quickly. While Shepherd is incredibly playful and oh so cute, we also recognize that he is going to be a BIG boy with many needs. Shepherd will only be adopted to a home with large-breed experience (he is a Rottweiler, Cane Corso, Mastiff mix), a fenced yard, another high-energy dog, and training experience. Shepherd is the perfect mix of playful, snuggly, and smart—ready to grow into the best companion 💛

Story
Meet Luna! I found her along with her siblings when they were tiny. There were eight in total, and I was able to place five of them with friends and family. Luna is the only one I still have, and I’m hoping to find her the loving home she deserves. She’s about 4 months old, very sweet, and actually the biggest of the litter. Luna would be a great fit for a big family, an active household, or anyone looking for a loyal new best friend. She’s gentle, playful, and ready to bond with her forever people. If you think Luna might be the right match, feel free to reach out.
