Maddie is a happy lady who doesn't know how big she is and will plop her 67 pounds right on your lap. She is affectionate and determined to give you kisses. She loves everyone she sees. She was found as a stray and invited to stay a few days at her finder's home. She might know something about house training but please be patient if she needs more guidance. She rode well in his car, looking out the window the entire time. She is jumpy and pulls while on a leash. She is strong and weighs 67 pounds. She knows the sit command. She loved playing with her finder's puppy and is interested in her shelter neighbors. We haven't seen her around children yet. She is curious, quiet, and playful. Nyla is a great puppy who appreciates quality lap time and getting lots of attention and pets. She weighs 30 pounds now but will be a big girl someday. She is very active and likes fetch, running, tugging, toys, and walks where she is well behaved on a leash. She knows the sit command - sometimes. She is still working on house training and spent her days either freely roaming the house or outside which she really enjoys. She is easygoing, friendly, and playful with other dogs and wants to play with dogs she meets during walks and at the dog park. She is friendly and playful with cats. She has experience with children as young as six and is friendly, playful, and jumpy with them. She is being given up because she was too much for her elderly owner to handle. Whether you’re in the kitchen, lounging on the couch, or sitting at the table, Mable is right there ensuring you are never alone! She has an uncontainable enthusiasm for food and we’re using that to enhance our walks and work on commands. Mable has a zest for activity and play, she enjoys long walks, a good game of fetch, and chasing the flirt pole. She is also a great hiking companion and enjoys exploring the trails at the state parks. Mable loves people and is warm and friendly with everyone she meets. While she hasn’t had extensive interactions with kids, her temperament suggests there would be no issues. She has not had close contact with other dogs but other than being curious about them, she has not displayed any sort of aggression. Hello, my name is Ellie Benelli! If you are looking to have only 1 pet in your life, I am your girl. I am overall a really sweet girl, and haven’t had any issues when it comes to meeting new people. I would do best in a home with much older children or adults only. I am a little more of a higher energy pup, however I enjoy hanging out in my kennel when needed. I am completely crate and house trained! I do have my indestructible crate that will come with me, as I am not a fan of loud noises. Thunder, gun shots, fireworks etc really scare me and I tend to break out of normal crates to try and seek safety. I love being outside! I enjoy running, playing, chasing squirrels and I LOVE the water! I will also play fetch with you for hours if I could! I would make the ideal travel buddy, as I really enjoy car rides and going on new adventures! I do require a secure, fully fenced in yard. My adoption fee is $200 locally in Houston, TX and $350 out of state (includes travel fee and health certificate). Dembe is an awesome big loving baby. He is a house dog. He loves cold weather but does not do well in the heat at all. He is not getting along with my smaller older dog. The chemistry is not there. It would be good if he were the only dog in the house. He loves to play with other dogs though. He needs professional training he is a big boy. He loves to sleep in the bed and loves belly rubs.
