Say hello to Praytell, the most handsome guy here at our Center. Praytell is a 5-year-old sweetheart who’s ready to find a loving home of his own. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccines. When Praytell first meets new people, he can be a bit shy, but with a little patience and kindness, he truly blossoms. Once he knows you, Praytell becomes the most goofy, affectionate guy here at our Center for Pets. He loves nothing more than leaning into you for cuddles and soaking up all the love he can get. He’s a smart boy too! He knows tricks like sit and paw, and he’s both house-trained and leash-trained. Praytell would love nothing more than to find a family of his own. Everybody, meet Mila! Mila is a 10-year old Rottweiler. Mila is a wonderful snuggle bug, she adores getting scratched in the ears or on her chest. She’s a great couch potato, and she loves to sit in your lap for a long nap. For an older lady, Mila does love playtime. Her favorite game is tug of war and she adores anything with a squeaker. She loves other dogs and plays well with her 3 foster siblings. She loves a good game of chase, and she loves to chew on antlers and toys that squeak. Coco gets excited to go on car rides and is ready to go whenever you pick up the keys. She rides very well in the car. She has had some training and is great with 'sit' and 'down' and offering her paw. She is working on reinforcing the 'stay' and 'come' commands with her foster parents. She would do best with a fenced yard and supervision (at first anyhow). Her previous family reported a tendency to run off. Her foster family has seen no such behavior. Coco is housetrained and is a bit afraid of her crate - which is being worked on. She sleeps all night on her dog bed in the master bedroom. She is a cuddler and wants to be close to her people. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal companion, then Coco is the girl for you!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. This big beautiful girl cost someone $3500 2 years ago. A year ago she found herself abandoned and living on a chain a couple hundred feet behind the home she used to live inside of. The family she used to be a part of had moved away. Thankfully the property owner had been caring for her until he could find the perfect place for her. She is now safe and comfortable at the Funny Farm and back inside where it’s warm and she gets to play and have people love on her throughout the day. She is 62 pounds of pure love. She loves everyone she meets and is a little submissive. She loves other dogs of all sizes as well. She has a moderate prey drive so cats would probably not be a great idea although we are told she used to live with 2. She absolutely loves toys, especially this giant donut and she loves to go for rides. She does great off leash and has excellent recall. She is the typical Rottie and is a slob with her water and food and has no idea how big she is because she loves to sit in your lap. She knows sit but I believe from living on a chain for a year, she does jump a little but she corrects fairly easy. This girl has tons of potential in an experienced home. She needs lots of exercise and consistent training. Sophie has been dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated according to age. Sophie is very friendly and active, playing hard with her sibling and with the resident dog. She would be best with children over 5 as she is very active with nipping as most pups are. She loves her toys. Right now she does not like to be held a lot as she just wants to run and play. The adoption fee is $300 which includes her spay and other medical that is done prior to adoption. There will be an extra $50 deposit for spaying at six months that will be returned when we get proof of spay. Peppa is a happy, playful pup. She is outgoing and adventurous but loves to be cuddled. She loves fluffy toys and running with them. Tug o war is her favorite game. She is marked beautifully with black spots sprinkled on her body and a lovely tri-color mask. Peppa has been dewormed, microchipped, and vaccinated appropriate for her age. Since she is not yet spayed, Peppa is not available for adoption outside of the counties contiguous to Bedford County.
