Story
Rosa is a rottweiler who weighs about 90-100 pounds and is guessed to be around 6-8 years old. Rosa was looking pretty rough when she found herself in a high-kill shelter in SW Va. Since coming to us, she has flourished! Rosa is a smart girl who knows how to sit and shake hands. She loves food and is willing to work for it. She is big and strong but is well behaved for her foster mom. We are looking for a strong, competant owner for Rosa who does not have other pets. We would love to see Rosa in her very own home with her very own family. A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Rosa, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other "slow to adopt" dogs! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Story
Meet Beanie, a goofy, lovable 5-year-old Rottweiler who’s packed with energy and always ready for fun. He’s the kind of dog who wakes up happy, tail wagging, already excited for whatever the day might bring. Walks, playtime, exploring… he’s up for all of it. Beanie is incredibly sweet and genuinely loves everyone he meets. He’s the type who leans in for pets, makes you laugh with his enthusiasm, and just wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. Because he has so much energy, Beanie would do best with an owner who enjoys staying active and doesn’t mind a dog who wants to be involved in all of life’s adventures. A fenced-in yard would also be perfect for him. He loves having a safe space to run around and burn off steam. If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling (and keep you moving!), Beanie might just be your guy.
