Story
Meet Elmer Fudd: The Brave and Sweet Doberman Puppy with a Big Heart!Introducing Elmer Fudd, a purebred Doberman puppy who’s already been through quite the journey, but is still full of love and playfulness! At 5 months old and about 30lbs, Elmer is growing into a strong, energetic pup who loves to play with toys, other dogs, and cuddle up with his humans. Despite his tough start, Elmer is an incredibly resilient boy and is ready to find a loving home to continue his journey!About Elmer Fudd: Born: 11.04.24 Breed: Purebred Doberman Weight: Around 30lbs at 5 months old (growing every day!) Personality: Smart, clumsy, and super cuddly! Elmer is a playful puppy who loves toys, other dogs, and snuggling with his people after a day of fun. Health Journey: Elmer has been recovering from osteomyelitis (a bone infection) and is finishing up his antibiotics, with just a little more treatment left to go until the end of April. He’s made great progress, regaining strength and muscle in his hind legs. However, a recent x-ray showed some areas of concern in his femurs. These could be related to the infection or a condition called osteochondritis, and his vet is consulting with the WSU Ortho Department for guidance on next steps. Despite this, Elmer is thriving and still the playful pup he’s always been! Training: Elmer is working hard on potty training and crate training and is making great strides. He’s a smart pup and loves to learn, with plenty of room to grow into a well-mannered companion. Ideal Home: Elmer will do best in a family that’s committed to continuing his recovery and providing him with the love and care he needs to fully heal. He’s a sweet and loving boy who will thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of playtime, cuddles, and support as he grows into a healthy adult dog. Elmer Fudd may have had a rough start, but his resilience and sweet personality shine through every day. With the right family to support his journey, he’ll be a loyal, loving companion for years to come. Want to meet Elmer Fudd? Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon. About Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process.   ##2255655##

Story
Say hello to Bella, the charming and spirited pup who’s ready to steal your heart! Bella is all about playtime, especially with her fellow rescue pals—she could spend hours frolicking in the yard! While it may take her a little time to warm up, once Bella trusts you, she’ll shower you with endless affection and loyalty. Bella thrives on slow introductions with well-balanced dogs, making her an ideal companion for other furry friends that match her energy. She’s crate-trained and settles in easily, though her playful nature means doggy beds don’t stand a chance—they quickly become her favorite toys! Highly motivated by treats, Bella is eager to learn and responds well to training. She walks well on a leash but can get easily distracted, so a gentle leader might help her focus during outings. Though Bella prefers the comforts of home, she’ll need a little encouragement to embrace the joys of a walk. She can feel anxious around other dogs on her adventures, sometimes expressing her excitement a bit loudly. But remember, every rescue has their quirks, and Bella’s incredible qualities far outweigh any challenges! Bella is ready to find her forever home with a family that understands and loves her just as she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will fill your days with joy, Bella is the perfect match! To add Bella to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2149754##

Story
Baby is a 8 year old Dobie (about 65 lbs) from Pennsylvania. We’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old. Affectionate and loving, she will stick to you like glue. Very curious but respectful of other dogs. She’ll rarely instigate a shouting match, but is quick to make her bark heard, if challenged. She’s extremely patient with our prodding son, and certainly loves any opportunity to stretch her legs- be it a sprinting cat chase (she has never hurt our cat, just pokes at him with her nose and loves to chase him), a stroll around the neighborhood, or a fun game of fetch. Fortunately, she also loves to laze around in the house and relax. She is definitely an inside dog. She is up to date on all shots and has a clean bill of health. Unfortunately, we will be moving onto a military base soon, and their breed restrictions will not allow her on. We will be heartbroken to let her go, but hope to find her a loving forever home with lots of space and a pet parent with lots of love to share
