Story

Coffee is a beautiful rottweiler who was at risk of getting shot after being dumped on a rural property. She was heartworm positive but has been treated for it. She has stubby tail. She has been good with male and female dogs medium to large but has not been around small dogs or cats. She is very very friendly with people. She walks well on the leash. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Huck is around 1-2 years old, medium energy, and about 50lbs. He is a major snuggler and has been a quick learner! He is crate trained and walks well on leash. He enjoys playing, but is not super interested in toys. He doesn't shed much at all! He LOVES kids and is gentle with babies. He gets along great with other dogs of all sizes! Huck is currently fostered with kids and dogs. Huck needs a home without cats. Huck found himself roaming the streets of Lubbock, TX for weeks or even months. Huck was immediately a sweet boy, and it is clear that he has experienced some sort of trauma in the past as he is scared of men. He is not aggressive at all, he just tries to avoid them. His foster thinks that he would warm up to a man after time, but the man needs to be patient with him. With women and kids, he is readily a snuggly boy! Huck is currently in Texas, but we want to bring him up to Wisconsin soon and transport can be easily arranged!
