Story
Pepper is a recent shelter transfer, we will update her bio as we learn more about her! Pepper is a beautiful 3-year-old girl weighing about 65 pounds, and she's ready to find a family to call her own. After her previous owner could no longer care for her, Pepper has been winning over everyone she meets with her loving personality and sweet nature. This wonderful girl is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. She enjoys daily walks and staying active, but she's equally content curling up for cuddles and soaking up attention from her favorite people. Whether you're looking for a walking partner, a couch companion, or both, Pepper is happy to fill the role.Pepper would thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise, plenty of love, and lots of quality time together. As she continues to settle in, we're learning more about her unique personality, but one thing is already clear—she forms strong bonds and loves being close to her people.Pepper is looking to be the only pet in her new home, with no other dogs or cats, so she can enjoy all the love and attention she deserves. In return, she'll reward you with endless loyalty, affection, and companionship. If you're searching for a devoted best friend who will join you on adventures and snuggle up beside you at the end of the day, Pepper may be the perfect match for your family. Come meet her—you just might fall in love. ðŸ\x90¾ðŸ’•I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle me into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday)

Story
We found Houdini as a stray about a year ago, unfortunately no owner came forward so we kept him. He was extremely reactive towards children when we first got him but I have been working with him consistently and that has gotten a lot better, however I would still not place him in a home with children. He’s ok with other dogs and has never attacked them but he definitely gives warnings when other dogs are in his space. I think he would do best in a home with no other dogs or one other calm dog. Houdini loves long walks and snuggles on the couch. He has a great recall unless there’s a bunny around. He’s easy to groom, great at the vet, has a clean bill of health, and is ready for an owner that can dedicate their time to him. Unfortunately we already had dogs prior to finding him and we just aren’t in a spot financially to give him the life he deserves.
