Story
Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. She has some vision. Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats. But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies. I like to be active and meet people and other dogs. However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy. At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved. I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person. Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
DERP level: EXPERT. Handsome level: OFF THE CHARTS. Meet TITUS! Titus is a 2-year-old Boxer / mix with a larger-than-life personality, approximately three functioning brain cells, and absolutely ZERO concern about looking dignified. This chocolate-colored hunk is crazy, goofy, lovable, ridiculously expressive, and quite possibly one of the derpiest dogs you’ll ever meet. Whether he’s flopping around with a stuffy, chasing a ball, or staring at you with those big goofy eyes, Titus has a way of making everything entertaining! And speaking of those eyes… WOW. Titus has the most striking golden-colored eyes that practically glow against his rich chocolate coat. He’s an incredibly handsome dog - although his goofy personality makes it nearly impossible for him to take himself seriously. Underneath all that derp is an incredibly loving boy who genuinely enjoys being around his people. Titus loves attention, fetch, his stuffies, and being included in whatever his humans are doing. He has the kind of personality that fills a room, and life with Titus is pretty much guaranteed to involve a lot of laughter!Because Titus came to WCAS as a stray, we’re still learning more about him every day! One thing we have learned is that small children make him nervous. Despite his big stature and outgoing personality, around little kids this big goofy guy turns into a nervous puddle. For that reason, Titus is looking for a home with children ages 16+.When it comes to other animals, Titus may enjoy having a canine buddy - but he needs the right match (NO cats or small dogs for this guy)! We believe he could do well with a well-socialized dog closer to his own size, especially one who can confidently help show him the ropes of how to “dog.” As always, proper, slow introductions will be important to set everyone up for success!Titus is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick & heartworm preventatives. If you’re looking for a handsome chocolate-colored goofball who will keep you laughing, love you BIG, and bring an unreasonable amount of DERP into your life… Titus might just be your guy! Please fill out an adoption application on our website - for any additional information or questions, please contact the shelter at wausharacoanimalshelter@gmail.com or (920) 279-9795.

If you adopt this will come off your adoption fee. If you meet and it’s not a good fit you will be refunded. If you cancel or no show it’s non refundable. **Meet and greets for approved applicants must happen within 3 days or the closest weekend (for long travelers). It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Popsicle is the absolute best girl with a very wonderful personality. She does fine with all the foster dogs living in her current home. The only thing that she ask is that her crate can be her space and her space only where she can enjoy her dinner and high value treats alone. She has a very boxer style way of play so having a more mellow dog or someone that understands her type of play would be best. She’s such a happy girl so happy that she had to have her tail amputated due to a chronic happy tail situation so now she has a very cute little nub to solidify her boxer style!
