Hi there! My name is Apollo, and I'm an energetic, playful young guy who's ready to find a home that can keep up with me! I'm a young boy and still very much in my "let's do something!" phase of life. I love to play and hang out with my people as much as possible! I'm super food-motivated, which means I'm smart and eager to learn - especially when treats are involved! With consistent training and structure, I have tons of potential to keep improving! I'm friendly and affectionate, and I'm still working on my manners. I promise that with some training and structure, I can learn to be the best dog I can be! While I am friendly with everyone, I would do best with older children in my future home that can handle my enthusiasm. I've lived with other dogs before and overall did well, so I think I could do so again if it is the right fit! I'd love an active home that enjoys daily walks, playtime, and keeping my brain busy. At the end of a busy day, though, I'm happy to relax nearby after I've had a chance to burn off my energy! If you're looking for a fun, high-energy companion and are ready to invest time into training and structure, I might just be your guy! Meet Rex! Rex is a smart, affectionate pup who absolutely loves being around people. He’s not a fan of spending time alone in his kennel or room, he’d much rather be by your side, soaking up attention and pets. He’s also house-trained and will let you know when it’s time to go out… just don’t make him wait too long, or you might hear his impressive vocal range the care team jokingly calls it “Mariah Carey high notes”. Rex has a sensitive side and isn't too keen on loud noises like thunderstorms, engine sounds, or power tools. When something startles him, he may react by moving toward it, so he’ll do best in a calm, predictable environment. While he can be a little particular, like hesitating to go into his room, some gentle reassurance and praise usually do the trick. He’s highly treat-motivated and currently enjoys his lickimats and Beggin’ Strips. Sweet, quirky, and full of personality, Rex also has one of the best smiles around. He’s ready to bring joy (and maybe a few high notes) into your life!
