Meet Dee Dee! She's a bundle of affection, adoring belly rubs, and happily pawing for attention. Her love for human company is evident-she enjoys being close and going for walks. Lately, she's discovered the joy of playing with toys solo and alongside her human companions. Her crate manners are excellent when alone, and she's making progress with leash walking, although she tends to jump up in excitement. At night, she's a well-behaved couch sleeper and doesn't require crating. In her foster home, Dee Dee gets along wonderfully with 12 and 8-year-old kids, although she might be a tad enthusiastic or playful around tinier humans. She's full of zest, readily expressing her excitement and affection. We rehomed her last fall from Facebook. She came from a family where the Dad was in jail and the Mom with 5 kids (now 6) had been evicted. We have had 2 Rotts and thought it was a good opurtunity. We were told she was around 3 years old but I believe she is much younger. She is too much dog for us in our 60’s. I’ve had a couple strokes and several heart attacks. My balance is poor and she can drag me around. She needs a lot of room to run and a bunch of kids to keep her busy. She has a lot of energy and it’s not fair to her to be with older people. We should have renamed her glue or shadow because she always is right by me all the time. She likes chips, popcorn and ice. Thank you for reading
