Story
Meet Rex! Rex is a smart, affectionate pup who absolutely loves being around people. He’s not a fan of spending time alone in his kennel or room, he’d much rather be by your side, soaking up attention and pets. He’s also house-trained and will let you know when it’s time to go out… just don’t make him wait too long, or you might hear his impressive vocal range the care team jokingly calls it “Mariah Carey high notes”. Rex has a sensitive side and isn't too keen on loud noises like thunderstorms, engine sounds, or power tools. When something startles him, he may react by moving toward it, so he’ll do best in a calm, predictable environment. While he can be a little particular, like hesitating to go into his room, some gentle reassurance and praise usually do the trick. He’s highly treat-motivated and currently enjoys his lickimats and Beggin’ Strips. Sweet, quirky, and full of personality, Rex also has one of the best smiles around. He’s ready to bring joy (and maybe a few high notes) into your life!

Story
Elvis is currently residing in a foster home.Elvis is a goofy and lovable boy. He loves to be snuggled up in his blankets and also loves toy time. Elvis seems to enjoy kids and adults alike and has never meet someone he wasn`t ready to befriend. Elvis walks great on leash but also enjoys getting out of the house for a car ride. Elvis is potty trained and takes commands well. He may even give you a paw to shake!Elvis came to us with some lumps and bumps. The vet did remove one of the larger growths for his comfort but has decided it would be in Elvis`s best interest to monitor his remaining sites. If you have any questions about Elvis`s medical care please reach out to us at the shelter. Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.- Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html)- Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions.- Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs.**Kittens are required to be adopted in pairs, unless there already is a cat in the home. If the cat in the home is 10 years or older, this two-kitten policy will apply.

Name: Tarabelle Age:  1 (ish) (DOB listed as 12/24/24) Breed: Boxer Mix Gender: Female Weight: 30 lbs  Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: VERY Good with cats: being introduced/curious Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixes: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and prior vetting paperwork. Foster location:  Appleton, WI Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Looking for the perfect petite princess? Look no further, Tarabelle is your girl!! Tarabelle came up from Texas where she was listed as an owner surrender. Why? No idea, we think she’s pretty perfect. She’s getting used to the snow and cold, but has had no issues with pottying outside. She can be a little nervous in new situations, but settles in quickly and loves to be cuddled up with her humans. She LOVES other dogs and has great play manners - isn’t in your face, gives great cues/body language and reacts appropriately to other dogs. Does your dog need a dog? Tarabelle would be a perfect companion. She loves hard chew toys and has shown no interest in soft toys so far. She’s still very young and energetic, but without the bad puppy habits. She kennels quietly overnight with no issues or accidents.  Tarabelle is at the perfect age to grow up with a family - learning your routine, settling in and becoming one of the family. Help Tarabelle find her forever home! Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest if it isn't a good fit.February 2, 2026, 11:53 am

Story
Roy is a good boy, he loves to snuggle, chew bones, go for walks. He really just needs a good home and experienced dog owners that are available to give him lots of love and attention. Roy does have some skin issues that we have unfortunately been unable to figure out over the years so ideally owners that might be experienced in this area would be perfect. He is used to being around other dogs, cats, small children and teens, he does fine with all.

Story
I rescued Jayda almost 7 years ago, I adopted her at the Fox Valley Humane Society. She was part of a neglect and abuse case in TN. Now she’s almost 10 years old, she’s very much an alpha. She’s a sweet, cuddly, love bug that loves to lay on the couch all day. She would prefer to be the only dog in the house or with small dogs/cats. Within the last year my boyfriend and I moved in together, he also has two large dogs. One of my boyfriend’s dogs is very much an alpha as well. Jayda and him have never gotten along together. Constantly growling and displays of dominance to each other. We try to keep them separated as much as possible but we live in a small house. When our daughter came along we were nervous of how Jayda would react with the now constant noise. Every time our daughter would cry Jayda would run off into our bedroom and non stop shake. She would be in our room for hours and never come out for hours. Our household has become to stressful for her. Please contact me with any ?
