Story
Jack is a 4-year-old German Rottweiler who has been part of our family since he was a puppy. He is deeply loved, incredibly loyal, and has a big, playful personality. Making the decision to rehome him has been heartbreaking, but we want what is best for him.Jack loves children of all ages, including babies, and has grown up in a busy family environment. He is affectionate, protective of his people, and enjoys being involved in daily life. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he can sometimes forget how big he is, so he would do best with older kids or adults who are comfortable handling a strong, energetic dog. He knows basic commands and has a good foundation, he would thrive with continued structure, and consistency. Jack may need a little time to adjust to a new home, but once he feels secure, his loving nature shines. Our family is growing and transitioning into full-time camper living, so we no longer have the space or ability to give Jack what he needs. Rehoming fee negotiable.

Roo travelled to Wisconsin from Texas where she did not have the best start in life. It is believed Roo was used to have puppies and then dumped when she "out grew her usefulness". Roo did not receive the best ear cropping, but her flopped over ear is so endearing! She does take daily supplements to help her hips. Her hips do make her a little hesitant to jump and might need assistance getting into a vehicle. She is working on leash training, but still has a tendency to pull. Now that you are informed of her imperfect qualities, let's talk about her perfect qualities! Roo is very mild and laid back. She really enjoys the resident littles (dogs) and really wants to play with them. She does this little pounce/bow that is extremely adorable. She takes direction from them when they don't want to play with a small pony. She is totally content laying out on the couch or curled up in a dog bed two sizes too small! She has expert level dobie hugs and perfected her dobie lean! Due to her protector breed, we are looking for an adopter who has experience with dobermans. Roo is just waiting for "the one" to see her and love her for who she is that is willing to continue training. She is looking for her protector that she wants to protect.  The 3-3-3 rule of rescue is important to all rescue dogs but especially true for sweet dogs like Roo. They need that time to blossom. Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved.
