Story
* This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, June 13th from 12-3 PM unless adopted prior to the event. To be considered for adoption before or at the event, please read the dog’s full biography to see whether they may be a good fit for your home, then submit an application.  Can't make it? Check our website after the event for available dogs. All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.Meet Tink, our most charismatic 4 month old kitten. Her journey here? A comedic mix-up involving a mistaken delivery van she snoozed in, ending up miles from her usual playground! Tink's days are filled with playful antics, from surprise cuddle attacks to energetic zoomies. She’s the life of the party, always ready to turn a dull moment into a laugh fest. She has a beautiful Russian Blue mix coat that is as soft as can be. She is incredibly loving and sweet. She loves to be held and receive kisses all over her face. She could join any home dynamic. She would be an excellent choice as a little sister for a resident cat, she also could join a home with a cat savvy dog or kids. She is full of confidence and who could blame her, she is the ultimate kitten. If you're looking for a bundle of joy to bring laughter and love into your home, Tink is your girl. Her goofy charm is guaranteed to brighten any day! She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.June 12, 2026, 9:23 pm

Story
Meet Baby Jill a graceful little gray sweetheart with a playful, cuddly heart Baby Jill is a gorgeous solid gray kitten with the cutest white “socks,” like she’s always dressed up for something special. With her soft, velvety coat and bright, curious eyes, she has a gentle beauty that’s impossible to resist — but she’s got plenty of personality to match. Jill is full of playful charm. She loves to chase toys, bounce after anything that moves, and join in on all the kitten fun — especially if her sister, Baby Hanselle, is involved. She’s curious and clever, often watching first and then jumping in with her own adorable spin on playtime. When the excitement settles, Baby Jill shows her sweet, affectionate side. She’s a total cuddle bug who loves to be close — whether that’s curling up beside you, climbing into your lap, or tucking herself into a cozy spot for a nap. Her soft purrs and gentle nature make her the perfect little companion for quiet moments. Baby Jill shares a special bond with her sister Baby Hanselle, and she would love a home where they can be adopted together. They make the perfect pair, bringing double the love, fun, and cuddles to any family lucky enough to welcome them home. If you’re looking for a kitten who brings both fun and tenderness, Baby Jill is ready to fill your home with love, snuggles, and just the right amount of playful mischief. Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies, and you will get to see firsthand how their wonderful natures develop! Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptJune 12, 2026, 7:15 pm

Story
Nelly took a couple of weeks to come out of her shell, but once she did, her personality really began to shine through. She's curious, bold, and social. Her foster family nicknamed her Houdini because she will find her way through any closed door.  She's got a lot of energy and loves a good play session. Balls and hair ties are her thing (wands, not so much). When she's done running around, she'll happily curl up on a lap or cozy up on the couch. She has a cute, unique little meow and is very food motivated.  A squeezable treat will win her over instantly! She can love-bite when overstimulated, but disengaging usually does the trick. With other cats, she's persistent and playful, unfazed by growls or hisses. She never hisses back, but she will instigate with a curious paw. A resident cat who doesn't mind a social, bouncy newcomer would be the right fit. Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. Story
Apologies-she may not be a Russian Blue - she is an all gray and beautiful cat!!! Cherie is truly a dear cat, I rescued her as a kitten and she has grown into an independent, sweet, gentle cat that loves to attach to a human, she will follow you around and sit next to you but also does her own thing. Her fur is soft and she loves to be petted. She can be an indoor/outdoor cat or just indoors, she will be happy to sit on the window sill and talk to the birds, one of her favorite things to do. I have to release her because I am moving in with son and his family with several little ones and they already have two male cats that their older child older son is attached to. :( You will be very happy with this beautiful and gentle cat!

Story
Grayson was adopted as a stray 3mo old kitten from Human Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) Milpitas and is now about a year and a half old. He has been well-taken care of as an indoor cat with teeth & fur brushings every other day and his shots / doctor visits up to date. He has been taken on outdoor walks occasionally for mental stimulation (he is leash & harness trained) and seemed to quite enjoy the outdoors. He is a very curious & energetic cat who loves food and play (happy to throw in some of his favorite toys & treats with the adoption). He will come to inspect anything you work on and pick up any toy you throw at him. When he finally runs out of energy, he loves to snuggle up in your arms or in the crook of your legs at bedtime. He is very affectionate and will wait by the window for you to come home at the end of the day. He is excited by new visitors and will happily greet them at the entrance.

Story
He is a joyful, 5-year-old soul who lives life to the fullest! If you want a "bomb-proof" companion, he is the one. He is incredibly bold, social, and easy-going. He thrives around people and has a proven track record of living harmoniously with both other cats and dogs. I’d describe him as affectionate, resilient, highly food-motivated, and adventurous. Yes, he is a major foodie! His love for food makes him super easy to bond with, and he never fusses about his meals. In April, he had a brief episode of urinary crystals. He was treated promptly, has fully recovered, and uriniates perfectly now. Thanks to his great appetite, he transitioned smoothly to a preventative urinary prescription diet (SO/CD) and happily devours it daily. Aside from this simple dietary routine, he is in excellent health and full of vitality. Looking for a loving home that will maintain his diet. He has so much love to give and will make a seamless, happy addition to any family!
