Russian Blue kittens & cats in Lake Worth, Texas

We adopted Drake from a shelter as a kitten. They named her Drake because they though she was a boy and we just stuck with it. Drake has 3 dog siblings at home they have their moments like any siblings do but at the end of the day they are cuddling with each other. We had our first baby boy in December and since then he has been hospitalized multiple times on oxygen support. Come to find out he is highly highly highly allergic to Drake. She is super sweet and cuddly and loves everyone that walks in our home. She had grown to really like a pate salmon wet food. She does have a sensitive stomach so we have just found that this so far has been the best thing for her tummy.

Meet Andujar Michelle born about February 2020. Andujar Michelle was part of a large rescue of over 35 cats and dogs. Their caregiver was an avid animal lover who sadly suffered from mental illness and ended up taking her own life. It was quickly obvious to us that she poured a lot of love into her pets. We couldn`t let them all go to the shelter so we were able to get them all into foster care!Andujar is a very sweet and quiet boy who wags his tail like a dog and loves to play. His favorite toys are stuffed catnip mice and the tunnel. He enjoys leaving the mice scattered about the house, tearing open the tummies, running through the tunnel with the mice, and leaving them in the water bowl to make catnip tea. He loves to be petted, but is shy at first and needs time to adjust. He likes to be in the room with you and next to you, but not on you. He is not a picky eater, and enjoys dry and wet cat food, not so much treats. He gets along well with other cats, usually being the less dominant cat. He does well around dogs, almost automatically unfazed by his foster’s dog. So, he’s be fine with another friendly pet. He would do well in a house with other cats, but also in a house where he is the only cat, because he usually plays alone with his mice. He enjoys sunbathing on the sun porch. Andujar is also quite the night owl, usually sleeping most of the day, and playing all night. He is litter box trained and very sweet. Lina is a 3-year-old female Russian Blue, purebred and originally from a breeder. She’s very healthy, calm, and independent — the perfect example of the gentle Russian Blue temperament. Lina is mellow, affectionate in her own quiet way, and has never shown aggression toward people or other animals. She keeps to herself but enjoys calm companionship and a steady routine. She would do best in a peaceful home and may prefer being the only cat unless adopted together with her bonded companion, Fifa (6 yrs, male). Fifa is equally gentle and social — a mellow cat who gets along with cats, dogs, and people of all ages. Both are relaxed, affectionate, and easy to care for — ideal for anyone who appreciates calm, well-behaved cats.
